Food is always good as we have gone there for years. Owner could be a bit more friendly as it is a small cafe and intimate. Waiting staff are not the friendly people I would expect. In spite of lack of gratitude toward its customers, we go for the food.
Great experience. I had the SW Benedict with Jim's Potatoes, at the recommendation of Jim, the owner, who was kind & conscientious enough to come outside and greet us. This is the kind of place we need to support, and allow to thrive. A true gem of an eatery with great food, superb service, and they even let us bring our dog on the sidewalk patio. They even greeted him with a water bowl & treats!! We'll definitely be back and sing their praises to anyone who will listen.

Don't let the hostess/waitress throw you off. I was glad I knew what to expect from other reviews. Mia greeted us with a scowl and tossed a couple menus on a far corner table for us...but after that, she was perfectly personable and no further complaints about her.
