“My husband and I are in Deephaven for two weeks watching our grands and our son told us we needed to go out to breakfast at Beanhaven. He said “it’s like a little hometown cafe” so today after getting the grands off to school we did. Wow, such a cute place, delicious food and coffee and a delightful server. I had the sausage mushroom quiche with Jim’s potatoes, my husband had eggs, bacon, Jim’s potatoes and toast. Omg every thing was amazing. We will definitely be back when we’re here from Iowa 😋😋😋“

“What an amazing staple to the Hopkins community. Mocha and pumpkin butter coffee are a must try. This place support local artists and business as well. prices are more better than most corporations so choose to shop small and support this local Hopkins jem.“

“Ate dinner here on recommendation of a friend. Great food, served fresh, hot and fast. Had the spaghetti and garlic toast special. Was delicious. Huge serving also. Hubby had the grilled ham and cheese and subbed onion rings for the chips. Another winner. Had strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert- was really good and hit the spot. Laura was our waitress, attentive and friendly. Will be back!“

“I was help this morning by a lovely lady named Jill. She was so energetic and it was nice to see a smiling face earlier than 8 AM. She helped me fiddle with my gift card and was patient with me and appreciate the excellent service. And the drink was delicious as always too. Thank you, Jill!“

“We love Smith! It is our favorite spot for pizza. Pizza night is the best, especially if you have little kids. If we remember, we reserve ahead and get a table. Otherwise we bring our picnic blanket. Our kids are all under 5 and we love letting them play in the garden. The pizza is amazing and so are the salads. I appreciate a menu that offers a few things and does them really well. This is pretty much the only restaurant I can bring my kids to and have a nice relaxing time myself. I have been earlier in the day for coffee/lunch and it is nice as well.“

“I was greeted with smiles and did not wait more than 30 seconds in the store to be helped to take my order! It was a very tropical hot Minnesota weather day, so the trip to Caribou and the cure for my hunger was refreshing and sufficient! The only suggestion I have for payment options, and I am not sure if this is a GooglePay issue or Caribou, but I had a gift card and was trying to order through the app and the gift card was not an option to even be able to choose as a payment. Not a deal breaker, just walked to the store and ordered in person. I just suggest maybe having an option to pay with gift card in app? Other than this, that is my novel of a review for Caribou! “It has been a while since coming here under the new Ownership. I am glad I chose to reinvestgate. I ordered the Sothern fried steak, which came with hash browns and toast with coffee and water. The steak and gravy was one of the best I have ever had. The hash browns were good yet could have been browned a little more. The coffee was rich and did the job. Our Server was prompt and tentative. Great attitude. The price was an expected value, especially with the Senior discount. I am already planning a return trip to try some of their South American cuisine. I recommend giving this quiet place a try.“

“I don’t really go here often but every now and then I’ll find a gift card from 2018 in my drawer and then I can justify spending $7 for 250mg caffeine. However whenever I do go the team working is always speedy and extremely friendly. Whenever I pull out 4 gift cards with $0.30-$4 on them the cashiers always look at me like I’m crazy. I don’t know how much is on them. They’ve been in a drawer for 7 years every time I use one it’s like seeing if I won the lottery or if it’s just an empty one I forgot to throw away. Anyways…staff here is great. Coffee is expensive but everything is expensive it’s 2025. They also need to start getting whole milk. 5 stars.“

“I have been going to Cafe 12:2 for over five years at this point, and the quality never disappoints! They have a wide variety of hot, cold, and blended drinks such as mochas, lattes, frappuccinos, drip coffee, etc. There are bottled soda pop and water as well, and apart from beverages they also sell yogurt, cheese and beef sticks, candies and pastries. All of the products are reasonably priced; in the five years I've been at 12:2, there has only been a 25 cent raise in price primarily because of a switch to a higher quality coffee brand. All the staff are friendly and understanding, the layout of the Cafe is warm and aesthetically pleasing, and of course all the drinks look and taste amazing!

Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly snacks such as fruit snacks, cheese sticks, and goldfish are sold. Hot chocolate can be made less hot for the little ones.

Parking: All parking is free and a short walk from the Cafe.

Wheelchair accessibility: Along with stairs, there is an elevator guests may use.

Dietary restrictions: There are several types of milk products available, including skim milk, soy milk, coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk, and half and half.“

“I cannot express enough just how impressed I am! May (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) was PHENOMENAL and so kind! She gave me AMAZING recommendations and was so sweet, the interaction put me in such a great mood after a rough/exhausting morning!

The food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully put together. The Korean Iced Milk Coffee was excellent.

The format of the displays makes it easy to access and the store was extremely welcoming in appearance, vibe, and staff. Packaging was top-notch, easy to get home without any issues. I will 1000% be coming back when I’m in town!“
