Coffee and bake goods are average at best. Server was very rude.

Cute and cozy! Stopped in for breakfast on a weekend. Service was fast, the menu has a lot of choices. Looking forward to a return trip for lunch!

Only 1 star for these reasons:-Food (Smokehouse Omelette) I pulled a big hair out of my mouth after the first bite. Also it ripped my guts up and put me in the lavatory all day after eating it - I think the mushrooms with it were bad (canned perhaps, but they were nasty).-2 Servers switched off helping us. Both looked unhappy and could not return a smile. They were pretty curt with us.-Service was pretty slow and I thought the server was pissed when I asked for a coffee refill (as nicely as I could).

One of my favorite breakfast spots. Good food and service although they have been a little understaffed lately.

Don't let the hostess/waitress throw you off. I was glad I knew what to expect from other reviews. Mia greeted us with a scowl and tossed a couple menus on a far corner table for us...but after that, she was perfectly personable and no further complaints about her. Not sure why she doesn't greet customers with a smile, but it didn't affect the service. The food is good, though the "giant sized English muffins" are anything but. They are just normal sized English muffins and not sure why they are billed as "giant sized". The potatoes are spicy with pepper but very tasty and oily. We did enjoy our meals and the prices very reasonable. Now that we know Mia is all bark and no bite, we'll definitely be back!

Food is always good as we have gone there for years. Owner could be a bit more friendly as it is a small cafe and intimate. Waiting staff are not the friendly people I would expect. In spite of lack of gratitude toward its customers, we go for the food.

Great experience. I had the SW Benedict with Jim's Potatoes, at the recommendation of Jim, the owner, who was kind & conscientious enough to come outside and greet us. This is the kind of place we need to support, and allow to thrive. A true gem of an eatery with great food, superb service, and they even let us bring our dog on the sidewalk patio. They even greeted him with a water bowl & treats!! We'll definitely be back and sing their praises to anyone who will listen.

First time going here, and it was amazing! The food is so flavorful, it was perfect! My husband, who is super picky with food, was scrapping his plate, if that tells you anything. Definitely come here, so cute. Everyone is super nice. Will of course come back, my tummy is so happy!Meals we gotSmoked salmon eggs benedict : 10/10Corned beef hash : 10/10Captain Crunch French Toast: 10/10Black Coffee: 10/10 ?

This is a real secret spot in the Twin Cities metro! I ordered a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheddar, and sausage patty on a bagel), which is a pretty simple order but nothing about the flavor profile was simple. The house-made bagels are devilishly good. The staff was so welcoming, warm, and efficient. We did not go without empty coffee cups or water cups while we dined, they kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.Worth the drive out here. I will be very excited to make the trip out from the city again.

The captain crunch French toast was good French toast, but I'd never have known it was anything but French toast. The veggie omelette was a fine omelette. Nothing was really wrong except the service was super slow (45 minutes between ordering and food), but it was mother's day, so maybe that played into it.It was fine, but I don't think I'll go back.

This place is legit. Their Ruben is easily top 5 I've ever had. I just tried the Hot Italian and it did not disappoint at all. The coleslaw is excellent as well.My co-worker and I get one sandwich a week and love to try new places all over the west metro. This place is a hidden gem.
