Low key eatery, and nice atmosphere to chill with small group of friends.
Slower than usual food service, plan an hour to wait and at least, even while seated.
Clean bathrooms.
Has a small TV on upper wall playing some nice low volume African music.
Sweet cinnamon tea is too sweet and hurts my stomach even after a small sip, don’t recommend it, it’s premade and not made fresh- too much sugar in it.
Food is average, nothing competitive or super appealing.
Kenyan food is fusion, so it’s not really as authentic as we’d hope.
Dish menu claims to have rice, but rice was not served.
Don’t plan on coming back unless I need a low key place to chill and not be bothered. But the seating is limited, and the architecture of the layout wasn’t very well thought out.
Chairs are comfortable and a lot of open space. Not cramped at all.
But, the task urgency of this place is very lacking.
I would recommend this restaurant get an expert business consultant to remain profitable- I see tough times for this business ahead.
Food and task management is not competitive at all.
There are much better places for African food with much lower prices just a few blocks away.
I like the effort, but just not a place that has the ability to truly standout.
Seasoned fries also, are not tasty at all- the taste combination is not appetizing or appealing.
Food came out lukewarm, like it was sitting out for a while.
We didn’t bother taking any left overs, just not enough uniqueness or style.
Don’t recommend eating here unless your taste pallet cannot distinguish authentic cuisine.

The food is of Kenyan origin and the restaurant offers a Kenyan fusion kind of experience.
In terms of service, for smaller orders, they come out quickly with beef samosas as part of my favorite side. Bigger meals can range from 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes twenty and this depends on the type of food ordered and the flow of other clients in the restaurant. They also make food from scratch and this allows customers to get the freshest meals while exploring the Kenyan fusion.
In terms of atmosphere, the place is loaded with African music and Afrobeats is always playing on the background. Might not be child friendly but you can always ask the waiter to change the music if you are eating with children. Great place!
Look out for Tilapia, coconut curry beans and chapati, Chicken curry rice and Goat soup (hangover soup only on Sundays

We were visiting family for the weekend from Texas and they suggested we visit this place. It did not disappoint! Everything tasted great and everyone thought their order was delicious- the grilled fish, curry beef and chicken. And the sausages tasted very authentic to the Kenyan sausages. The staff was very friendly and attentive to us. We would definitely visit again if we go to Minnesota again.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Spicy coconut curry with chapati was phenomenal, full of flavor. Washed it down with a nice, cool cinnamon Sweet tea; chef's kiss.
