The cutest, coolest place with the most amazing Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything is so good. The staff is so nice too. We come before every Vikings game or whenever we’re in the area and it’s such a fun time.
The way I think to judge la madre has been me and my partner’s desire to go back. We have now been 6 times and it has been open for less than a month.
The vibe of the place is transportive and relaxing. We particularly like the various brunch plates and think it is a great brunch spot. They need to get the word out because then the brunch deserves to be a weekend regular for the residents and visitors of the mill district.

La madre is a new restaurant in my neighborhood and it’s a great addition!
The food is pretty good, my favorite things from the menu are the tacos and chips and queso.
The drinks are amazing plus a great tequila selection.
The atmosphere is airy and fun, there’s lots of opportunity for photo shoots. This is a great place for a girls night out as they are able to accommodate big groups.
