At 12:31, they ran out of chicken halfway through filling my order. Just blopped a different protein on the plate. No refried beans even though that was what was pictured. Repeated my order several times, to blank stares. Surely there is better elsewhere.

Stopped here for lunch and it was fantastic! The burritos are really big and full of fresh meats and veggies with a perfect mix of rice. The chips were really good, the queso was tasty, but I wish it was thicker. Very lovely decor honoring Día de los Muertos, a definite stop again for lunch very soon!

Just a great, quick lunch option for the nearby workers. The meats were tasty and moist. The elote was a great treat.

I was CRAVING a pastor quesadilla, so my husband & I tried this place when downtown. I have been around Hispanics for over 18 years & have had awesome foods/not so good. The pastor meat was in a soup? NEVER seen that before, so I was hesitant to eat meat there. I ordered a cheese quesadilla, it was HUGE (should be for $12.50) yet they did not give enough salsa, creama, or guacamole. The fountain drink machine was not working, & they were out of a salsa I wanted. My husband has carnita tacos $3/piece for taco Tuesday, he liked them yet he will eat near anything lol. Probably won’t go back, 3 stars for the size & flavor of the food I had.

The Torta I purchased today for $17.12, was so soggy! I took one bite and threw it all away. The taste of the chicken, and lettuce tasted very off as well. Soggy Torta no bueno! 🤮
Great lunch spot

***UPDATED 10/17***
I walked by this location just after 11am when they opened and saw they had what seems to be new staff and a redesigned menu. Since they just opened and it was dead inside, I decided to give it another try. I will say, my experience was FAR better than what it was a few years back. The guy helping me at the counter was very nice and courteous and the food, as well as the portions were great for the price. Perhaps they took note of all the negative reviews and addressed it? Or perhaps it was a coincidence. Either way, I will return to give it another try. I ordered a burrito and it was massive. The chips they gave was also a really decent size. My own minor grip is that I wish there was more guac since it was in a 2oz cup.

The attitude of the staff here has become very crappy in recent years. I went in today to get their $2 taco special but it had changed to $3 and Mexican style tacos only. No big deal.
So i get my tacos and ready to pay and the the total came to $22 for only 4 tacos! The woman said "these are American tacos so they're more" I pointed that they're corn tortilla tacos. She said that because I added sour cream to them, they're now American. The offer says NO WHERE on the signs inside what ingredients were ONLY allowed.

Food is good, better than other places. But the service and the cleanness are not good at all. The bathrooms are always dirty. And the parking lot is not very safe. The location we went to at 801 Lake Street Minneapolis. The parking lot is in the back of a laundry business and a liquor store. There are homeless and some others drinking.
