Luna & The Bear - Kitchen & Libation House

We hosted a friends baby shower in their side bar room and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating! They let us decorate their space and the service was great. The room was very spacious. They even helped with take down after the event was finished, and did small things like washing out Tupperwares for us that made a huge difference. Would recommend this space to anyone looking to host a private event!

Really neat place, loved the decor. Food was delicious, everyone got their correct order, they did seem short staffed for Sunday brunch time so if you go, plan on relaxing and taking it easy. Courtyard was a beautiful spot to sit. Parking is around back!

Great service, drinks and food.

Very fun place to meet up with friends, go on a date, hangout with co-workers, or dine alone. Beautiful open patio that I observed from afar, as it rained when I visited. Our server Addison was very helpful and friendly. His recommendations were 100%! The burgers are all amazing, both style fries are delicious, the cauliflower is a must, and the Fried Eggs BLT sandwich got double raves. The social spritz NA mocktail was savory, very very good!! Special note on the burgers: they had a taste that felt reminiscent. I can't put a place to it but there's something familiar there which is going to bring me back over and over until I figure it out!!

Decent food, but a little overpriced. The cheeseburger was just okay. The gin and jam cocktails are fun, but pretty expensive for what you're getting

We had a 5:30 rezzy on a Saturday night. I was the first of our party of 4 to arrive- and was sat by a guy who was not welcoming or friendly. Once we were all sat- it took about 8 minutes for the server to greet us. The person filling the water glasses was there way too much- filling our glasses when we had barely drank out of them- that was odd. When our food was brought- the plate looked like something would serve to my kids at home. Totally underwhelming- no garnish- not attractive- and the salads were all overdressed. The service was pretty good, overall- but the experience was average at best. I suspect they won’t be around for more than a year or less.

A good location in South Minneapolis. Food choices aren't vast, it's more of a place to enjoy libations and a conversation. I really enjoyed their crispy chicken sandwich and mocktails. It was presented very well.
They also have a cute kind of hidden patio. The design of the location was very thought out.

We are visiting from Texas and had an incredible experience! Such a great little place and gorgeous patio. We brought our dog and were met with kindness, they brought her water and treats, and everybody stopped to say hi. The Old Fashioned was a perfect fall drink, and the Luna Burger was an INCREDIBLE combination of flavors that I so enjoyed. Perfect poach on the eggs benedict as well. I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you to our server, Kimberly T, for amazing service!

Dietary restrictions: Were able to accommodate gluten free needs. Can't speak to cross contamination, but the gluten free bun was soft and delightful!

We've been here twice now and found the food delicious, the staff personable and helpful and the atmosphere relaxing. The cocktails were delish (negroni, gin n jam) and the beet burger with fries was very satisfying. We sat on the shady patio because it was a gorgeous evening. Our wait person was excellent.
