Great looking place and our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food looked great but was ok. The specialty drinks were delicious and a little pricey but felt worth it for a premium cocktail.Parking: It's Eat Street so a lot of restaurants means a lot of people so be prepared to have to look depending on the night

I have been wanting to try this place and I’m really happy I was recently able to. The best part? Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Even the bathrooms are cute! It was a really clean place with super adorable dog themed decor. My food was also pretty good. I got the chicken tenders and French toast and I was happy with it. The worst part? Service was a tad slow. Our food took a bit to come out and the bathroom paper towel dispenser in the woman’s restroom wasn’t working but it was overall a good experience. I must also add that parking is not easy. Some got lucky and were able to find a spot right in front of the restaurant but a few of us had to park a block or two away. I was told there was a lot behind the restaurant but someone said they weren’t marked so they didn’t know it was for the restaurant but I’m not too sure about this.Parking: Hard to find. Not many spots open near the restaurant but I’m sure this depends on when you go. We went on a Sunday afternoon and we had a hard time finding spots.

Luna and the Bear is a culinary galaxy, and Addison is its brightest star! His impeccable service and charm made our dining experience truly stellar. Addison guided us through a universe of flavors with expert recommendations and delightful anecdotes. Luna and the Bear isn't just a restaurant; it's an unforgettable journey, made even more magical by Addison's hospitality. Bravo to the whole team, and a special shoutout to Addison for making our morning start off on the right foot.

This seems to be the hot new spot to check out in the Twin Cities so I went with a friend for a little celebration, and it did not disappoint! We visited on a Saturday evening for dinner and were surprised to find out that they have Happy Hour every day of the week. You do have to sit in the bar area to take advantage of the Happy Hour but that wasn't an issue. You can still see most of the restaurant from this seating. Very cute place with fun wallpaper and photos throughout. The Happy Hour menu was pretty good if you like wine or beer. And the food also had some great options. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich from the Happy Hour menu, and y'all, this was a FULL meal. Large sandwich with shoestring fries. So delicious! Highly recommend. Chicken was nice and crispy and those fries are super addictive. We also ordered the cheesecurds as an app and these were great as well. I had a beer from the happy hour menu and then treated myself to one of their signature "jam" cocktails. You get to pick your jam flavor and then type of gin from a pretty extensive list. I went with a spicy jam and then a Spanish gin. This was one of the best cocktails I have had in awhile! Spicy but a little sweet. Amazing flavors. I want to try all the different mixtures! Overall, this was a fantastic first impression and I can't wait to come back and try more!

Went for happy hour and loved the Gin & Jams - just delicious! The atmosphere was lovely. I did wish they had a Gin & Jam on the happy hour menu, since it's what they are known for! The service was fabulous, the cheese curds were amazing!

Not sure what happened here. Service started out great. Then I was given the wrong salad, but I didn't complain as I wanted to try it any way. At the end of our time, though, I had my credit card out to pay along with empty glasses for over 15 minutes. It wasn't busy but we were totally ignored. I tried to catch the eye of the manager but he looked pissed off the whole time we were there. Menu and service are not worth a return. Feels like an $85 happy hour down the drain.Vegetarian options: All burgers and many apps can be made vegetarian.Parking: Side lot-10 spots

Came to Luna & the Bear for a quick brunch after a high recommendation from a friend.Ordered the farmers skillet as well as the Luna Burger and flavors were there and perfection in cooking was on display. Not only were the potatoes and fries, perfectly cooked but well seasoned as well as high-quality ingredients throughout. Had a bear paw cocktail which was very subtle and still well balanced. The overall interior aesthetic was great to add to the scenery and the soundtrack being played was great as well. I would highly recommend popping through Luna & the bear kitchen and libations house for a good quick brunch or meal.l and great customer service!I will be back with more friends.

This place is the definition of 5 stars. They have a killer Happy Hour menu (all day Sunday) that features $5 "Schooners" (huge beers). Food was delicious and thoughtful. Our server, Cory, was perfect; attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will absolutely be coming back here. Highly recommend the "Gin & Jam" drinks!

I am not someone who normally writes reviews, but after the wonderful experience we had at Luna and the Bear I simply had to.We reserved the larger party room for a memorial for our dear friend who passed away from cancer, and we could not have been provided with a better space. Perfectly decorated and open, the staff was incredibly helpful in assisting us rearrange as needed and helped us display flowers and pictures.Nick was our server, and for a large, over 20 person party, he went above and beyond and never missed a beat. I am incredibly impressed. He was so kind and thoughtful. My drink was never empty, everyone was attended to quickly. To me, Nick is the kind of person any establishment would be lucky to employ. The drinks were amazing and creative, the bartender even provided us with complimentary drinks to try.We ordered a lot of apps and they were all delicious, especially the cheese curds and meatballs.I cannot wait to go back for a meal. Thank you to Nick, and the entire staff for treating us so well. It was not an easy event to carry out, and I will forever be grateful for this experience.

Food and design was great! Rude server and illogical “some tables get happy hour others don’t” rule downgraded the experience considerably. The place wasn’t busy enough to excuse rushed service and arbitrary rules.

It is such a beautiful space, with such a fun vibe!! The wall paper, paintings, and natural light made it the perfect brunch spot. The gin and jam drinks were especially exciting for me, and I'm interested to try more. The staff were kind and efficient, and I loved that you could pay by QR code. Parking can be a bit tricky so leave some extra time! I ended up street parking in the neighborhood across the street.

Went to Luna and the Bear for restaurant week. The food was good and our waiter was spectacular. The cocktails were the star of the show though. Luna's gin and jams really are some of the best drinks you can find on Eat Street. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Great atmosphere & service, but food was disappointing. The roasted vegetable salad didn’t have any roasted vegetables? The vegetables were fresh and crisp without any signs or flavor of roasting. The vinaigrette was heavily poured and overwhelmed the salad. The Luna burger & meatballs were just okay. The quality of bourbon in the Old Fashioned didn’t taste great. Very friendly staff and the space is beautiful.
