the grilled pork banh mi is best banh mi I've had in the twin cities. I also got the cream cheese wonton and black Thai tea. everything was delicious and their sweet and sour sauce is actually sour!
I've been eating banh mi sandwiches for years, all across the country. This is hands down the best banh mi I've ever had. The pate is simply the best, full of rich umami flavor. I got the special ham and all of the cold cuts were outstanding. The bread was crunchy on the outside without being too hard and the veggies were bright and crisp. Iced coffee was great, as well.

I go to Lu's sandwiches each time I'm in Minneapolis for school, ever since I discovered them. I wish I had known about them earlier. I also saw the joshlilj Youtube video of the owner being extremely generous so I'm blowing up each location with a 5 star review.
