Food was not fresh at all. Saw a roach crawling on the wall near the kitchen.

What a great place! I felt like I am back in Costa Rica. The service was super nice. The food was very, very good. I would go back there at any time. They had really nice music too.

We love Marna's! The food and drinks are fantastic and full of complex flavors. The ownership and staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the vibe makes it feel like we are on vacation. We love having this gem in our neighborhood!

Healthy and oh so delicious!!! I really have a hard time understanding why I have never seen this restaurant as a James Beard winner or Star Trib top restaurants!

We ordered the Plantano Maduro(plantains) and Guacamole(yuca) appetizers. Everything I've had here is really good. Since those were filling and it's Tuesday we ordered some tacos. I'm not big on fish and I tried one but I really don't care for fish unless it's super fresh out of the water. But the Al Pastor was great. My friend had chicken which was great also. I live in Phoenix but every time I come I want to make sure to hit it up.

Honestly, they gave me carnitas I wouldn’t even give to my dog. The gallo pinto they serve looks like vomit. The water tastes like sewage, and the Coca-Cola tastes like it came from a dirty machine. The cooks touch their hair while wearing gloves and drink over the food. But of course, all of that is because it’s “inspired food.” Be thankful for the 1 star. My name is on top so no need to post it on your answers as you did with previous customers.

I’m from Costa Rica, and this place was very disappointing.
The gallo pinto doesn’t taste like gallo pinto at all, and don’t even get me started on the chifrijo.
I understand that the ingredients might not be the same, but I’ve made better meals with canned food than what I had at this restaurant.
Overall, this doesn’t represent Costa Rican food or anything close to the real flavors/concept of Costa Rica.

Cute restaurant with tropical vibes. Tacos were good and a great special that runs on Tuesdays! That ceviche was surprising good. 😋 And I highly recommend the fried calamari and empanada dessert. Damn delicious. The cocktails were not my jam, though.
