They sell NY-style pizza by the slice. They got weird but apparently popular toppings like Mac and cheese, which I did not try. Instead I tried a standard cheese slice, and another chicken with pesto slice. They were both ok but nothing too special. The dough is a bit thicker than it needs to be so the slice doesn’t fold the way NY pizza would. The sauce is also ok, not great but not bad either …

Found this pizza spot when I was looking for some slices, and was glad I did. It was very convenient to get to when I was in Uptown at a show. Staff was very friendly and helpful in picking some pizza to enjoy, and there was plenty of seating for a weekend lunch. Variety of pizza means there's something for every taste. Very nice to see a local, non-chain, pizza place that has good food and service.

COOL UPTOWN ZA JOINT WITH UNIQUE SLICES! ALSO OFF TCH DRINKS POP ICE CREAM! FRIENDLY STAFF WILL RETURN!
Good location, friendly staff. I'm off of work mid-afternoon and will occasionally stop here on my way home -- it's usually pretty dead around that time but it makes it easy to get in and out, and there's always good choices for pizza. Not overly large inside but there are several tables if you want to eat in. If you've been inside a Mesa location before, they're all pretty similar -- definitely a rock club sort of vibe with minimal decor and lots of posters for local shows and events on the wall. Not fancy by any means but they're never dirty, and prices are fair -- plus the pizza is always fantastic. I've had a good chunk of the menu and while I definitely have preferences, I don't think there's anything on the menu that's actually bad. Parking is on-street and sometimes a pain, but that's typical for this area -- at least if you go around the time I do, there are usually still spots on that side of Lake. Good place to hit up for a take-out slice or two of fun pizza, and an even better place to stop in if you're in the area at a night or on the weekend as they have late-night hours.

For this area, this place has great pizza. $5/slice is a great deal for lunch, and I believe is a proper serving for a single person. The combinations are interesting, and provide a good reason for coming back repeatedly. This is an establishment that I recommend checking out for anyone that lives in the area.
