Good location, friendly staff. I'm off of work mid-afternoon and will occasionally stop here on my way home -- it's usually pretty dead around that time but it makes it easy to get in and out, and there's always good choices for pizza. Not overly large inside but there are several tables if you want to eat in. If you've been inside a Mesa location before, they're all pretty similar -- definitely a rock club sort of vibe with minimal decor and lots of posters for local shows and events on the wall. Not fancy by any means but they're never dirty, and prices are fair -- plus the pizza is always fantastic. I've had a good chunk of the menu and while I definitely have preferences, I don't think there's anything on the menu that's actually bad. Parking is on-street and sometimes a pain, but that's typical for this area -- at least if you go around the time I do, there are usually still spots on that side of Lake. Good place to hit up for a take-out slice or two of fun pizza, and an even better place to stop in if you're in the area at a night or on the weekend as they have late-night hours.

For this area, this place has great pizza. $5/slice is a great deal for lunch, and I believe is a proper serving for a single person. The combinations are interesting, and provide a good reason for coming back repeatedly. This is an establishment that I recommend checking out for anyone that lives in the area.

This location would be 10x better if they had Morlaya's Chicken pizza like the one in Dinkytown. I go to the Uptown website and for some reason it's listed on their menu, but it's not listed in any of the delivery apps. Either they don't actually have it or there is some kind of mix-up on the delivery apps. They also don't have garlic aioli like the Dinkytown location does either. I can tell you dipping honey mustard chicken pizza into garlic aioli is the best ever. One star for simply not having the best pizza on the menu. Hoping I can persuade the owners to fix that.
