You know, I’ve never sat in the bar-side until now. What a gem of a place when you don’t want a chain restaurant. Local, live music, great food.

As a regular customer, I took my family here for pizza this Sunday afternoon. We ordered a taco pizza and a Hawaiian pizza, which we enjoy as always. However, one family member ordered a French dip sandwich, which tasted off. He tried to eat almost half, then sent it back. It tasted moldy.
I warned the server about the "off" tasting sandwich, and she graciously took it away. The restaurant manager then approached my table and argued with me that many people come to Carbones and just don't like their product. He said that my family ate the entire sandwich, which is not true, and intimated that we were seeking a free meal. He asked that I tasted the sandwich, as if I didn't trust my family members' judgment of off-tasting food. Its not my job to quality control their product, and i trust family if they say the food tastes rotten. I was incredibly disappointed with how aggressive and defensive he was towards me when fronted with this information. If your food tastes rotten, don't charge for it, and take the lesson. I am disappointed because this interaction compels me to no longer patronize Carbones. It's too bad.

Went in the afternoon on a Thursday. Very pleasant, weather helped with the ambiance. The baked ziti was good. I know the pizzas are good from before.
Parking: I think it shares the Lunds parking lot when entering from Cedar Ave. The deck has an entrance gate from another parking lot that looks like you can access from the side street.

Quite a disappointing experience tonight, 90% of the pizzas crust was burnt on the edges, and the bottom was hard and very crunchy with a slight burnt taste. Every other time I’ve gotten pizza here, the bottom crust is chewy and the edges will have a perfect crisp to it.
There are no excuses to let a pizza like this make it out to a customer, really poor quality control.

All good, waitress forgot 1 item and then didn't bring it out until we ate done eating. But other than that, good experience.

This location is top notch. Classic Carbone's pub pizza but also great burgers, wings, and atmosphere for live music or sports on TV.
