The atmosphere was nice. Second time at Mortimers and I had a great time. 4 stars is because of the $15 to get into the other side with the 3 bands. Kind of lame but overall great experience. I drank a lot and ordered Buffalo wings.

Atm doesn't work, cash only to get into shows BUT this place has updated itself in a great way, I used to go here when I was younger (21+) and half was a diner, now it's a karaoke bar or a show venue and I love that. Dance floor, booths, 2 bars in the place. Pretty cool for an old local bar.

If you're looking for a local dive bar that's diverse, decently priced with a warm setting, this is a place to go to.
There is also an event venue there and a back patio.
Usually during show nights is when you will see the diversity that makes Minneapolis MINNEAPOLIS.
P.s. Security is always present after 10 p.m.
