Loved picking up a fresh baguette (order ahead) as well as some really tasty pastries and coffee recently! Service is great, and I loved the chocolate croissant, brie and leek scone, and the blueberry streusel coffee cake!

Chocolate croissant - 8/10
Flakey and airy. Smooth, rich chocolate. Would get again but wouldn't go out of my way.
Brie and leek biscuit - 6/10
Dense. Should be accompanied by a drink. Mild flavor. Not obviously brie and leek.

Dog friendly
Treats on counter, water bowl indoors

Aisle seating in front of counter, more seating on another room.

I would get the ham croissant sandwich next time.

Service is exceptional, they are so pleasant, and although the pastries are all delicious, I recommend the little sourdough baguette sliced and toasted with butter. (Note that they are dog friendly too)

My favorite local cafe! Sophia is the best and all of the staff are so amazing. The food is great and the service is even better.

The food is very good. But the servers are not courteous on the border of rude. My wife and I, each offer a sandwich. We sat down and they brought my order but totally forgot about my wife’s. We had to remind them 20 minutes later and they said “we forgot”. Totally unacceptable. I wish they could return my 20% tip (for which the server didn’t even thank us). They have issues.

Fun little venue. Great pastries. Friendly service. Rest rooms are clean. Quaint. Had a tea and iced chai with a shot of espresso. Cute spot in Minneapolis

When you go to Mother Dough, you can easily tell the love and care they put into their food. Always fresh! I've never been disappointed!

Came here specifically looking for decent bread coming from the east coast originally. The baguette was almost $9 and $11 with tip. I thought you know what it’s worth the price cause this is probably really great quality.

It was so disappointing because that was not a baguette. The bread was fresh, but that was not a baguette. The $3 baguette from whole foods is better.

Slow service, but the reason for review was that chicken in sandwich was served raw.

This is a great lunch spot. It's not cheap, but the quality makes it worth it. Service is outstanding. They were out of a sandwich I wanted to order, so they later brought me out a complimentary cold-brew to make up for it. Really cool. The burger stands out. Near perfect. Really good salad included as well. They also have sandwiches ready to go if you want to take one with, or are in a hurry. Can't say enough good things.

It was overpriced (a $10 gift card was exactly enough for a small piece of cake), the cookies looked somewhat burned, and the white chocolate mouse cake tasted like wax. I didn’t like the coarse texture of the chocolate cake part either. My partner didn't notice the wax aftertaste and was happy to eat the rest of my half.

I put the price at $20-$30 a person because we split the small piece of cake. I originally was going to order a sandwich but they were pretty overpriced.
