Ordered the chicken/mashed potatoes and a burger for pickup. Only two items and they somehow forgot to put an entire burger in my bag. Didn't realize until hours later as I fell asleep. Kitchen was closed by that time. The dressing for the salad they included with my order tasted like I was chugging a jug of vinegar 🤢 Disappointed, will not return.

Stopped in the evening of New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed our visit. The place itself is very cozy. We were there when all of the Christmas decor was still up and that was a lovely element to our experience. Our server was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
We got the mussels, half hen, and burger. They also gave us a complimentary popover, which was surprisingly super delightful. The burger was pretty basic taste wise but the half hen was the selling point of our entire dinner. Extremely flavorful and tender—paired well with everything in the dish! The mussels was definitely another favorite of ours.

Exceptional waiting and chef staff. Leaves you feeling right at home and treat you amazing. Food was great and atmosphere was good for our family meals. We chose to embrace their hospitality for meals each day based on the pleasant environment and meal variety. Pancakes, sausage, corned beef hash, steak salad, cheeseburgers, muscles etc were exceptional.

I’ve always wanted to like and support this spot since it’s right around the corner from where I live. The folks there are nice enough enough, but the food is always a major disappointment. This restaurant basically serves reheated hotel food but charges as though they are a five star restaurant. In my latest attempt to support this restaurant we were served a piece of halibut the size of my thumb and charged $35 for it. This combined with their overpriced drinks makes it feel like a a scam whenever you visit.

Ate at the Normandy Kitchen twice during our stay at the Normandy. Both times the staff was phenomenal. The guy we had at our dinner had a lot of unique stories and facts that we converted about. The women who was working in the morning during our breakfast was the absolute sweetest. Kind, caring and attentive.
To top it off all the food we had was amazing! Everything is fresh, homemade and flavorful. With pretty presentations.
Both times we visited, there wasn’t many other people in the restaurant so we were seated immediately. But it was a quiet weekend with a snow storm that had hit. Pricing is higher, but that was to be expected.
The experience was excellent here. Great food, very refined, old feel. Great staff!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. Frank was our waiter and I have never in my life had better service. He was polite, kind, made great conversation, and had the best recommendations. He knew the dishes inside and out, down to how they were prepared. He also made fun non alcoholic drink recommendations for our teenage daughter, and she was thrilled with her order. We ordered what he recommended and we're floored by how amazing everything was. Next time we're in Minneapolis, we'll definitely be back.

Nicole was awesome, probably the best server I’ve ever had. She was super easygoing, genuinely friendly, and really knew her drinks. Her recommendations were spot-on and exactly what I was looking for. She checked in often without ever feeling intrusive and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. You can tell she really cares about giving great service. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll absolutely be asking for Nicole again!
