The food, ambience and table service were outstanding. Unfortunately, our initial impression from the maître D, who was gruff, rude, and didn't offer to take our coats or show us the coat check made a very poor first impression. I would've expected much much better from such a fine establishment.

Overall very happy with our experience. The only thing I'll say is we prefer Pittsburgh Blue. Basically the same restaurant but cheaper. P Blue has a better steak and sides are comparable and Mannys has better drinks and desserts. Liked the old school steak restaurant vibe.

Manny's was fantastic. Our server Anthony was 5 stars and made our time top notch. The steak was incredible. The sides mac&cheese, Brussel sprouts, and mash potatoes were delicious. We ended the night with the adult milk and cookies ( more like tiramisu ) was SO good that I'll be getting that the next time we go! The rest of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Manny's !! Will be back!

Manny's is the best of the best. Once you have a steak here then no other steak will taste good. Impeccable service. Massive portions so order carefully as you will not be able to complete eating most dishes unless you have a voracious appetite. If you order the banana split as a dessert then you will be surprised by it. If you are on a date then your date will be pleasantly surprised by it. Order it as a surprise for her. Extremely polite managers and staff. The location is perfect and within the W. Minneapolis-The Foshay with easy access via the living room. You can go North, South, East and West (and I literally have) but you will find that Manny's is the Best.

Lovely food, but hard to justify almost $300 for 2 people, no alcohol. In addition, driving from the suburbs, finding and paying for parking, too. Better value for the dollar can be found.
Our server, Gabby, was an absolute delight. We will come back many and ask for her to be our server. The steaks are fantastic, but the scallop Benedict app is the best thing on the menu.

I consider Manny's to be one of the top steakhouses in America. I have been over a hundred times in my life. This experience was the worst I have ever had there. Steaks were not seasoned properly and the temp was way off. The ginger juice drink was horrible and they were out of prime rib which I wanted badly but I stead got the Bludgeon of beef which was cooked and seasoned poorly. For spending as a single customer over 300 dollars I was very sad. No efforts were even made to apply some type of courtesy compensation. This review is a means to improve on the poor customer service experience I had at Mannys in this instance. I hope you can make things right and restore my faith. I love Mannys and always rave about it but this was very subpar performance.

If you're hungry the portions are huge, especially the sides. The steaks were disappointing, both the large filet and New York steak were both cooked well, but had absolutely no flavor at all. For the price of the steaks I would have expected a lot more. Have definitely had far better steaks for nearly half the price. Great service though and wine selection is good albeit even the drinks are a bit pricey.
