This used to be one of my favorite burgers in the world. We have a company with a lot of overseas employees so I loved taking people here who flew in. It was always a wow / 5 star burger experience. Unfortunately the last three times (all in the past month) were just bad. I thought it might have been an off day earlier this month, but had people in from New York, Luxembourg, Germany, and Sweden and today definitely didn’t go well. The burgers were dried out and didn’t taste like anything close. Kind of like overly salted burnt meat. The New Yorker took two bites and wasn’t able to finish it- not a picky eater either. The fries were served and parts of the fries were still cold. I hope they can figure it out again because it was such a solid burger. The last three experiences have been a far cry from what it was. Things would now have to change significantly for us to ever go back as it’s a bit embarrassing to talk something up to people that are in Minnesota for the first time and then have it fall flat on its face. Scaling is tough- I really hope you guys can figure it out!
One of the best burgers I've ever had. They make a great old fashioned as well.

Seriously you charge an 18% health/wellness fee for your food truck? So you charge $20 for a burger without a side and want a 20% tip, so 38% total in fees. Is this owner a nut job? The customer shouldn’t be paying for your employees health, the owner should. No way you aren’t making $17 a burger. Good luck making it in Excelsior with your new restaurant w a health fee. Not going to fly! The owner is essentially stealing money from his employees because people are not going to tip as much due to his questionably legal health fee.
The burgers and fries were reaaaally good. Steep price for a burger ($18) but worth it for a special meal once in a while! Walked in at 7pm on a Saturday with 4 and no reservation and were seated immediately.

Food and drinks were pretty good. We had a delicious couple of margaritas and The Florida man drink. The menu is good but limited, we tried the burger and chicken sandwich. We enjoyed them both quite a bit. The only real complaint I had was it seemed like there wasn’t enough staff for the place so that caused service to be slow. Def a fun atmosphere and environment tho. I’m sure we will come back in the future.

Finally troed a parlour burger. It was good. If you're looking for a good smash patty with no grills or additional toppings it good. Have I had better, yes! But for what I was there for it was great. Cocktails were awesome, patio was great and pup friendly.

Fun, cozy spot to grab cocktails. I feel like the food is a little pricey for what you get but otherwise it’s one of my favorite bars!

Food truck outside a bar that does not serve food...No prices listed. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers. No extras available, just 2 burgers, bun and cheese. Price $52!!! They know you have no choice since no other food is available. Ridiculous.

Wow, just my luck. I must have hit you at a bad time! Last Thursday in Carver I grabbed a burger to go from your truck and it sure the heck didn’t look anything like those you have pictured here! First off, it was ready in about 40 seconds so it wasn’t grilled fresh and it’s not like the truck was busy. I opened the greasy bag to reveal a greasy wrap, then opened the bun to find a tiny piece of cheese, then tried to soak some of the grease up from the bun. When I bit into it, it was like a sponge filled with butter dripping all over the place and the burger was extremely salty. I don’t know if you were just trying to get rid of the last burger or what but I would have been embarrassed selling that thing! I felt pretty screwed especially for $15 bucks and a $2.59 tip on top of that! Really wish I would’ve thought of taking a picture!

Good afternoon Gregg,

As I mentioned, I’m sure I hit you at a bad time. I am pretty sure I am one of the few who have had this kind of experience, and I do plan on trying parlor again, just to verify!
I appreciate your offer for the gift card, but don’t feel that is necessary.
Thanks for your honest response.

What a burger! A top favorite in the country!
Charcuterie plate was on point with a solid chunk of blue cheese.
Order of Fries are a healthy portion (which is great for snacking on with cocktails).
The only thing not 5 stars were the one thing you actually go to Parlour, the cocktails. Nothing wrong about them (with playful names, ingredients, and presentations), but honetly, they tasted like all other cocktail bars'. Worth getting (avg ~$15-$16), but you can be fine just getting one.

Cool basement bar ? Very good food; limited menu but excellent execution. The service was attentive without being annoying and the atmosphere was very cool and calm. It's a great place for a date night, dimly lit and quiet enough to have a conversation. They have nice booths or high top seating.

$21.25 for a Parlour Burger + no fries is unacceptable in a food truck take out experience. Burger is good (not best ever). Can you name another place in MSP that charges this price for a burger and no fries BEFORE tip?
