Pie & Mighty

This was the best thing I ate in Minneapolis. It's not even close. Now that I am home I'm not dreaming of Jucy Lucy's and cheese curds. I'm dreaming of pie. The best pie I have ever had. I finally won the lottery and it was well worth the wait. A perfect pie (pear-blackberry with an all butter crust) and the nicest customer service. It was a pleasure to wait in line. Everyone was so happy to be waiting for the best pie in the Twin Cities - maybe the world.

Pie & Mighty is the kind of pie shop you would want to open if you baked pie. They opened for business at the start of the pandemic so I imagine their business model would have evolved differently if Covid never happened. They have a newsletter and you enter a pie lottery to purchase pie. Then you pick it up on the allocated day and time. They have pie slices for walk ups on the appointed days.
