This was the best thing I ate in Minneapolis. It's not even close. Now that I am home I'm not dreaming of Jucy Lucy's and cheese curds. I'm dreaming of pie. The best pie I have ever had. I got a slice of Black and Blue Crumble and a slice of Lemon Meringue. I'm kicking myself for not trying the Almond Chess pie too. You don't need 3 slices of pie I told myself while waiting in line. Wrong. You need all the pie. I've never cared for Lemon Meringue pie but I had heard how great the pie was here so decided to try it cause I like lemon. Holy cow it was amazing. The meringue was perfection. I didn't know meringue could taste that good. The black and blue crumble was heavenly. The berries were delicious and perfectly sweetened. The crumble was the perfect topping. Pie & Mighty is a must try in Minneapolis. They are only open for a few hours a couple days a week. Plan your trip around it. It is that good.

I finally won the lottery and it was well worth the wait. A perfect pie (pear-blackberry with an all butter crust) and the nicest customer service. It was a pleasure to wait in line. Everyone was so happy to be waiting for the best pie in the Twin Cities - maybe the world.

Pie & Mighty is the kind of pie shop you would want to open if you baked pie. They opened for business at the start of the pandemic so I imagine their business model would have evolved differently if Covid never happened. They have a newsletter and you enter a pie lottery to purchase pie. Then you pick it up on the allocated day and time. They have pie slices for walk ups on the appointed days. Dress warm as you pick up outside. The pie is excellent. All of it. We ended up with an extra pie that we gave to a sick friend. I also purchased slices of the pies of the day. A little different flavors that worked very well together. The pie I want to see them make - Haupia pie. PLEASE!!!!

I lucked out big time and got two of their Apple Cranberry Pecan Crumble pies for Thanksgiving. This was the best pie I have ever had. Like, life changing good. I'm not a huge pie person and these were just heaven.

Great pies if you happen to get lucky in their lottery. If you don't, they're still great but you're only chance is a slice when they are open for pickup. Always a new pie to try and simply the best signature crust I've found!

I found out about Pie & Mighty after reading a feature out the shop in the Mpls.-St. Paul Magazine about the best pies in the Cities. That was enough for me to want to get a slice. It took me over six months to win the lottery but I finally had luck the week of my birthday! I ordered a 9" classic apple. I love an apple pie with soft apples, a flaky crust, and lots of cinnamon. My family and I were FLOORED with how delicious this pie was! The pie had a crusty outside with a flaky inside. The apples were thinly sliced and layered. The cinnamon flavor was present but not overpowering. Perfect balance between filling and crust. The pie itself was huge and my family and I were able to get many hefty slices out of it. We also purchased whipped cream that added a nice fresh touch to the top of the pie. 10/10 would get again. Hopefully, I can win another lottery soon!

I'm seriously in love. I'm a huge pie fan and Pie and Mighty has some of the best pie I've ever tasted. It was worth every bite and then some. Definitely get in their pie lottery or stop by for a slice of pie.

I saw a line out front this morning and decided to come and investigate what the fuss was about and OMG! I am hooked! Bought one pie bar and it was so tasty I had to buy another. I'm waiting on the key lime and from what I'm hearing from others waiting in line they are worth any length of wait time. I plan on purchasing whole pies in the future as walk in's are only able to purchase slices. It's worth it! I can't wait to WOW my friends at the next dinner party!

The pie is delicious. Their gluten free crust is amazing. Gluten free is for sale by the slice on Saturday usually. It is some of the best fruit pie I've ever found. Also though not gluten free the dandy hand pies are delicious and also available on Saturday usually.
