The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. It's truly an experience. Make reservations far in advance! We are so glad we did. Service was excellent. I wish I was staying in Minneapolis longer, I would go back in a second!
As usual, Lola does not disappoint. We were a party of 4 with a 7 PM reservation. We arrived grossly early (25 minutes) and could not be seated because the restaurant was so busy on a Monday evening! Service, as usual, was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent across the board. We especially liked the seasonal starter, caccio a pepe sweet corn. We had the Calabrian cauliflower, the kale salad and three pizza shared among 4 of us. We left with the inner smile, indicating...
Everything was delicious except our Korean BBQ pizza. The ingredients of beef short rib, mozzarella, scallion, arugula, soy-chili vinaigrette and sesame are usually in good balance but our pizza this time had very little, if any protein. For $27, the beef short rib is expected!
