Excellent food and service in a big open air room .
Food was spectacular.
I order the fried chicken sandwich.
The walleye sandwich looked fabulous too.

Great atmosphere and service however we ordered the smoked Mac and their peach salad. The peach salad was only edible because of the dressing and as for the Mac, Velveeta shells and cheese would have tasted better. Unfortunately, I would not go back. Maybe some of their other food is good but I would need considerable feedback to try it again.

This is the second time I tried to get seated, and eat here, but just as it was the first time, NOBODY was working, or willing to seat anyone. I watched a man who was trying to pay for his food just sit there, and eventually get up, and walk out. HORRIBLE service!!! Never been to a restaurant TWICE where NOBODY wants to work. This is an absolute joke, and the restaurant should be shut down. Again, I have tried to eat here TWICE with absolutely no service. Very disappointed in the horrible ran restaurant. I would out “0” for EVERYTHING, but that choice isn’t accepted. I hope they shut this place down, and make a restaurant that actually has service, and people who want to work. I live next door, and already wasted time just walking to a place that has nobody working during open time… and it’s lunch time on a Wednesday… this is horrible.

I ordered a mushroom swiss burger and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly with wonderful seasoning. Even the pickles were delicious. Only complaint is a $4 upcharge for fries is a little lame.

This is a very intimate spot if you want to take someone for dinner, without being a guest of the hotel. The food portions are just right, and everything is flavorful. The atmosphere has a blend of modern and classic that feels comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to make people at home, and they know the menu well, and help make great food suggestions. Most people aren't into soups, but I highly recommend their chicken and wild rice soup. It is sublime. Great pic, come and grab a bite.

I come here a lot for drinks during conventions and usually have at least one meal over the weekend. Food has always been great and never disappointed in that regard. My group and I usually have at least one visit during those times where wait staff is a little rude and it does bring down the mood.

The Bar staff made it for me. They provided great conversation, generously honored our free drink tickets, and managed to keep us in the hotel all week cause they were cool to hang out with.

Went late at night around 10pm, so we got their late night menu. Glad to see that there were some vegetarian options still. The cheese curds were supposed to be beer battered but there was no real taste to them and they were barely battered. A little disappointing. They have a chicken and wild rice soup that was actually the best one I've had but it was pretty salty. Again, we went at the end of their service so that may have something to do with it.

The Walleye? Wowee. My first time catching this freshwater fish in my array of eating experiences. A distinctly different taste for sure. (The vegan soup did the trick too. Next time I’m going for the peach salad!) Yes, I was in business tourist mode at a tradeshow. My expectations? This is a random hotel restaurant. I had none. I opted for the bar and got friendly fare from the staff and fellow patrons from near and far. If you’re in downtown Minneapolis at the Hyatt, don’t just consider Prairie. Definitely stop by it!

Boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday this past weekend and stopped into the prairie a few times, Jazz was an amazing server/bartender every time and made one of the BEST espresso martinis I’ve ever had. 10/10 I will be thinking about that martini for the rest of my life.

Had wings for dinner with a friend, we both woke up puking them up in the middle of the night in a sweat. It’s been two days and I still don’t feel right.
