Very lovely atmosphere overall. I got the mac and cheese which was to die for. Surprisingly this place was very quiet when we came but our waitress was very attentive.

The atmosphere was fantastic—open, inviting, and quiet, even with the hotel lobby right next to the restaurant. Unfortunately, the hostess didn’t seem very engaged this morning; she didn’t smile or interact with us beyond confirming the size of our party. Two of us opted for the buffet ($24 per person), and one ordered from the menu. The buffet was quite disappointing. There were no labels on anything, making it difficult to find what we wanted. For hot items, there were eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links, bacon, and waffles, but when we arrived around 9:30 (with the buffet open until 11:00), there were only a few eggs, no hashbrowns, no bacon, a few sausage links, and a couple of waffles. Eventually, they did bring out more hashbrowns, but they were soggy. The pastries and breads were also sparse—a small display of bread and muffins, with bagels and croissants completely gone. Juice and coffee were included, though the juice options were unlabeled and we couldn’t locate the coffee. When I asked the hostess if more food would be coming out, her response was simply, “they should be bringing it out soon.” Overall, I’d recommend skipping the buffet if you’re considering it—it’s not worth the price.

Amazing Old Fashioneds from the bar! Wowza! The fried cheese curds were delicious, but more often than not, the fried part was missing the cheese curd. Not sure I would get those again. The Minnesota Wild Rice dish was delicious. I would order that meal again.

To be fair, we ordered room service and this is the restaurant in the Hyatt that supplies the room service. The coffee they sent up was burnt tasting and the food was tossed all over the to-go containers. The food itself was decent enough, nothing special. We should have probably went down to the actual restaurant to eat.

Don't order the boneless rib sandwich if you actually want it boneless. Every bite had fractures of bones in it. I'm so glad my 2 year old wouldn't eat it when I offered some of my sandwich to him. Not to mention the attractiveness of pulling out chunks of bone from your mouth the entire meal.

My favorite Bar men in Minneapolis can be found here. Friendly, fast and a great service. And meeting point too. Made friends while there. Great ambiance and TV view. Supported Team USA at the Olympics from there. Great service point. Try it while there. Its within the Hyatt

Restaurantji Recommends
The food is terrible. Here for work and you would think a large hotel would have decent food. stay away from the frozen fish n chips. the chicken rice soup was like a pasty mush. probably the worst food I have ever had.

Went during a convention. The food is very fair for how easily accessible it is from the hotel, but it's not special enough to recommend otherwise. Cheese curds were very good with some drinks.

Ate her for breakfast during my stay because it was super convenient. But it would absolutely not a restaurant that I would choose to go back to if I was not staying at this hotel.
The food is pretty average - nothing special.
The service on the other hand is what gets this place its low rating. It's just very slow. The servers are nice enough, but sitting in a half empty restaurant and waiting for over 20 minutes for food is not great. And then when they finally came out with the acai bowl i ordered, they proceeded to then spill it on my bag.

Dined for lunch during the anime convention. Got seated quickly then we waited and waited. Had to flag down a waitress serving drinks because we were there for 30 minutes with no sign of our wait staff. Then we got the food. It was all super bland (probably the worst I've tasted) and not worth the wait or cost. Only positive was the drinks were good.
