One of the top places in Minneapolis!!!
I took my mom and grandmother to the prohibition bar. Becky, our server, was absolutely wonderful. She spent a lot of time explaining the history of the building and giving attention to my nana’s questions. I would absolutely recommend this lounge.
This is always our first spot when going out downtown!

While seating can be limited, which aids in creating a quiet, personal environment, early visits are recommended. The bar can accommodate guests quickly even when busy. The drinks are well-made and strong, though some guests have noted a $26 drink with tip. The furniture may need to be replaced as some of it is worn. The environment is perfect for an intimate night, providing a cozy setting that is neither too relaxed nor too formal. The staff is attentive, although some guests have experienced difficulty locating their waiter at times. Overall, visitors can expect excellent service and a unique mood, making them feel like they are in a private room, away from the crowd.
