Iām giving it a one star because of service. It doesnāt matter how good the food is, I will not come back because of how my mom and I were treated.
I had a reservation at 12pm for 3 people. I called at 11 to let them know it would only be 2 instead of 3 - as a fellow manager in the food industry I understand the difference it makes in reservations, seating and sections to have a 2 top available as opposed to a 4 top. The guy at the host stand greeted us with a big smile and was very nice.
Our server was a tall guy with glasses that seemed to be bothered by me and my mom. My mom has an accent and that immediately seemed to make the difference on how he treated us and the rest of the tables around us. We watched him be attentive and even explain the menu to the 2 blondes next to us. He took his time with the table on the other side of us and proceeded to roll his eyes at my mom when she ordered her meal. Not once he checked on us until it was time to bring the check and a box. I understand he was busy but his poor attitude seemed directed at only us. I can only take this as racism. My mom left feeling very self conscious and upset.
Putting your bad day, attitude and preference in clientele away is what youāre supposed to do when you choose to work with people everyday. Being kind and patient is part of the job.

my favorite restaurant of all time. my friends and i joke that the place is a ācafe/bar/restaurantā. their pancake is my go to. no bells n whistles, which may be a turn off to some, but itās delectable just the way it is. the bartenders are the sweetest. every food item iāve gotten here was delicious. relish - donāt change! you are a classic.

So fun here! Loved everything, especially the cocktails. An even greater place to follow in the bad waitresses old spot!
Stopped in for lunch today and ordered up a Relish Burger and some truffle fries. They were absolutely amazing. Just the right mix of salt and cheese on the burger that was hot and greasy as a smash burger should be, and the truffle fries were hot crispy and perfect. I'll be back for sure.

Stopped by before the town was really awake on a Friday and were pleasantly surprised with the service, food and overall experience. They do have a to-go order option with pastries but we sat down for their burrito and pancakes. Iām not sure who loved everything more- my husband, me or our son. Would happily go again

I come here almost every week for trivia and have been for more than a year. This place is awesome. They have great vegetarian food options and great cakes! Personal favorite is the carrot cake. I get it every time it is offered.

Met my out of town cousins who were staying at the Nicollet Island Inn here today for breakfast. We had the greatest service from everyone there, especially our server, I donāt remember her name, but I do remember she was from Arkansas.
My first time here, and of course, my cousinās first time here, the food was fantastic. The ambience was great, and as I said, the service was outstanding.
Great experience and I canāt wait to tell my friends about it.
