We found parking easily despite it being only street parking (came on a Monday at 18:05). Very friendly staff. Most of the baked goods were gone by this point tho so you’ll have to come earlier for things in the case.😄Many items are made on the premises.
so much to choose from on the menu, and it’s all good! full coffee bar, rotating pastries, great brunch menu on the weekends! and I love sitting on their patio in the summer
Biscuit sandwiches are delicious and the cinnamon roll was so tasty!
Phenomenal food, options, ingredients. I have yet to be let down and i eat there almost every other month! With other Vegan restaurants closing in this city, this one is still thriving with good reason! Never disappoints.
We had such a hard time choosing what to order because everything sounded so good! We settled on the mojo smoked brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and then the Korean BBQ Mock Duck Tacos and the Long Haul Burger for our mains. We ate outside and it was so peaceful and relaxing and we were happy with everything we ordered. I think the long haul burger was our favorite, however! For dessert we got the chocolate beignets and chia seed pudding. If we lived in Minneapolis we would eat here all the time!
Went to Reverie on my birthday so it was EXTRA special! We dined on their quiet patio outside and it offered such a calm environment to enjoy our meal. We shared the Lemongrass Tofu Tacos with a side of solid potato wedges (plus a creamy veg aioli!). The sauce and breading on the tofu added a ton of flavor. Light but powerful! Our second entree was the Mac and cheese bowl. WOW soooooo satisfying. Pasta spirals allowed the very creamy cheese sauce to stay gloopy (I say gloopy as a compliment). Very impressed. Lastly we indulged in some cookies for dessert. I was mostly impressed by the chocolate SUN butter cookie (sunflower butter inside). Oh man, what a special cookie 🍪. WOULD RECOMMEND!!
We have stopped here a few times when we are in town and always enjoyed our meal! Everything is so good!
Friendly, welcoming staff. The mock duck tacos were remarkable. Something I’ll be thinking about and hope to have again when visiting MN!
Great food, very friendly staff and loved the vibe with murals and graffiti decor
This was a really good burger! My non-vegan folks liked it too. Plus the potatoes were scrumptious. The burrito was quite yummy too. We had the Curbside burger with hand cut potatoes, breakfast burrito, and chocolate beignets. We’ll return.

We went twice while in the area. It was great both times. We tried the lunch and the brunch menus. Their coffee is the best in the world. The mocha was flavored with cocoa powder and not too sweet. The house made cashew macadamia milk was so rich and creamy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a nice place for a date, lunch with a friend, or as a quick stop.
The mac & cheese was delicious, super creamy. The mushrooms on top were ridiculously tasty, I wish there were more of them! For dessert, the chocolate beignets were pretty good, too. Not mind-blowing, but I've never seen this option before, so it was nice to try something different.
Reverie Cafe is not just a top tier restaurant in Minneapolis, it is a top tier vegan restaurant — period. And it is a strong contender for best restaurant in the city. Wearing their anarchistic sentiment on their sleeve, the restaurant is decorated with local art all celebrating plant-based eating. It’s colorful, fun, and full of flair. The food leans more to the “junk food vegan” side, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The menu is diverse enough in a standard fast-food way, without getting over its head. I ordered the Nashville fried “chicken” sandwich with potato wedges. The breading for the sandwich was crispy not just a mouthfeel way but in a satisfying audio way as well. Rounded off with the thick potatoes and a grapefruit soda, it was my best meal in the city. I recommend for a casual, fun lunch or dinner. It’s approachable in its menu to bring non-vegan friends as well. Make sure to check it out! Updated from previous review on 2025-04-14
Have been enjoying Reverie since they were just a food truck! Their food is AMAZING!!…from the Korean BBQ tacos, to the Berbere Sandwich….the Bulgogi Cauliflower ….you can’t go wrong. Their breakfast is amazing too (my favorite is the Tofu Breakfast Biscuit). Love when the weather is nice and can enjoy their lively patio too!!
Nachos were great and service was friendly!
