I love this place, I order about 2x a week but I wanted to tell you tonight it was way better than normal. Whoever is working tonight deserves some credit. The food is always good but tonight it was better. Significantly. Whoever was cooking pasta tonight deserves a raise or promotion.
Rinata is a community restaurant that truly cares about its staff and patrons. They shut down on January 23rd to stand up to the I.C.E. occupation of community spaces. We are two trans men, and we have always been treated with dignity as guests.
The owner and Scott the bartender, as well asseveral members of the waitstaff are extremely welcoming. If you come on a Friday or Saturday, please be kind if there is a wait. They are a small, family-owned restaurant....

Drinks were great though their cocktail menu only included classics. A corpse reviver on the menu is a rare and fun treat. We ordered the mussels which were AMAZING, and they even brought us extra bread for the sauce without prompting.
