Food and service was good Restaurant shows wear and tear. Messy Reception not friendly and dressed poorly

Nothing we ordered was good. Taco salad and quesadilla gave school lunch. Nachos were bland and lacked ample toppings. The drinks are watered down.

Servers were very pleasant to work with and did a good job taking care of our needs. The food was excellent with affordable prices.

I was part of a party of 4 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant got increasingly busier (and louder) as we were there. Because of the crowd, service was uneven, but everyone was very nice. The chips and salsa that came out were pretty good (I say that as a Californian with major opinions on good tortilla chips). Two of my companions ordered the elote appetizer, but saucers were never brought out. That made for pretty messy eating at our table, though we tried to clean up as best we could.

I ordered three avocado tacos on corn tortillas. They were really good with a great mix of flavors and textures. The avocados pieces had a thin, crisp crust, the interior soft and perfectly ripe. So good! The beans were pretty standard, but I really liked the small scoop of sweet rice. It was like a touch of dessert to freshen my mouth at the end. Our server apparently misunderstood our request for splitting the checks, as my bill was lumped in with a companion’s, but I just paid him in cash to reimburse him so we could head on out.

Even with the hiccups, I’d come here again. The staff was pleasant and the food was great (and good Mexican food is not something to take for granted in Minnesota).

The margeritas and chips have always been among our favorites. This time, though, the ritas were super-watery and weak. The service was very slow. The chips were overly salted. When we complained about the weak watery drinks, we were told there was nothing they could do about it.

Second time in a month that food was not hot. When it happened a month I thought it was a fluke so I didn't say anything. Margaritas are very good though. Nice happy hour. Still not worth cold food.
*I'm not sure what's changed.... have been there many times over the years and the food was always warm

Great food and service! Jeff was very attentive and on spot for service. I always get the chicken fajitas and they never disappoint.

We were in town for just a day. Stopped in for lunch. We're say quickly. Food was good. We seemed to take a little too long ordering for our server (we really didn't take long). Will return.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants!

They were completely unprepared for a rush. We made a reservation before an event, giving ourselves over an hour and a half. We ended up not being able to order a meal because of how slow the service was. It took over 30 minutes to get the waitress to take an order. When we asked if we would be able to get food within 45 minutes before we needed to leave she said the kitchen said no. They need to staff appropriately for busy times/rushes before an event.

Have eaten here many times. Service and ambiance fine. Food was awful. My tacos were actually cold. (Not raw but actually cold. Very disappointing.

Menu could use an update, same menu since opened, service is inconsistent, needs a maker over looks dirty inside. Beef Enchiladas with green sauce is still my go to and we go about 2 times a month, just need to tune it up!

Average and unimpressive, Rojo does not provide value for the price point. The area around Rojo seems to beckon ne'er-do-wells and the dregs of society. The air, thick with the smell of burned marijuana filled the vestibule. Prior to greeting my wife and I, it was painfully apparent the maitre d' was wishing he was anywhere but working 5:15 on a Friday evening. The staff was attentive, but portions were far smaller than expected, especially for a chimichanga. Arizona Taco in Plymouth is where you want to go if you want authentic Mexican in a restaurant owned by La Raza. They've got chimichangas as big as your face, more flavorful too.

Ribs are dry and overcooked. Service is very slow. Ordered queso. Had to sit and look at it getting cold before we got extra chips

They were busy and understaffed Our poor server was overwhelmed A simple order was messed up Each persons meal came out 20 mins apart A meal that should have taken an hour turned into a 2 hour painful experience 85 bucks for a disappointing evening.
