We had the worst brunch we have ever had. So disappointing. I was hoping for steak tartar, but only had a plain menu with enough pseudo French twists to justify the price. My Eggs en Cocotte were really medium boiled eggs covered in a melted stick of butter. My husband's 'crepe' felt more like a day old tortilla with semi melted cheese and machine chucked mushrooms.

Went to brunch with 4 other people, we were all into our dishes but damn they were skimpy and not really filling for $25/plate. Inventive and delicious food, but even in this economy I can't justify that price tag. (For example, the French toast comes with one singular slice of French toast for $22. Whaat???) I am by no means a size queen for my brunch dishes, and these were laughably small. The service was also disappointing - we felt pretty forgotten about in the back corner of the restaurant, finding ourselves looking for our server several times while we were there. Amping up the presence of service and the volume of food (or adjusting the cost) would have me singing a different tune.

St Genevieve is a quaint restaurant just off 50th and Bryant. We went for brunch and enjoyed familiar brunch fare but with an exquisite French touch. For example, French toast but topped with sweet jam, or an omelette with puréed carrots. We will definitely be back again!

The duck was great, carrots were a bit under, Parisian gnocchi was underwhelming. Cheese plate was delicious but be warned you need to like blue cheese! Overall nothing was bad but nothing wowed and for the price point I prefer other locations.

Service is really good they are really friendly. But we got food poisoning after back home, had a really bad diarrhea and vomit. We ordered the pork shoulder, but it taste like ham :(

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was noisier than expected. Service was also slow. But this was our first time here, so can't honestly say if that's normal. However, the creme brulee was the absolute best I've ever had & the chocolate cream dessert was a huge crowd pleaser. Can't wait to go back!
Everything is drowned in butter, bland to the point of being flavorless (the undercooked Arctic char is a loser), crude and unsophisticated. Gummy Brussels sprouts, likewise drenched in butter. Most of the meals came out lukewarm. For this money, I expected far finer cuisine. The French fries were the high point. Noisy (the party next to us may have been the Loud Family from 1970s Saturday Night Live skit). Won’t be returning.

My husband and I were very excited for a night out without our toddler, which is a rare occasion. We hadn’t been here in about a year and half and were excited to spend our night out here. We were unfortunately very disappointed. Our food took almost an hour from when we ordered it to it arriving at our table. When it did come it was cold, were very small portions for the price and one entree was different than the description. The workers were all kind but were very understaffed, the bartender was our server and we rarely saw him, he apologized every time we interacted with him but the service was subpar. We ended up getting a drink and dessert at a bar around the corner because we didn’t want to wait anymore and then ended up talking with another group who had a very disappointingly similar experience to us and ended up coming to the other bar to salvage the end of their night. With so many great restaurants to choose from in Minneapolis I would not recommend coming here nor will I be back.

Stopped here an hour before closing during the week and perfect ending to the night I wanted something cosy and quiet and I was transported to a French bistro sitting here at the bar chatting with the GM Tim (shoutout!) We ordered the fries with the bernaise dipping sauce, so fresh and perfect amount of salt Also got some delicious cocktails- sorry forget the name and a delicious shared dessert!! Need to come back and try the dinner menu Love the ambiance here!
