Is it me or is there a different vibe when eating at a veg café? Perhaps what I was feeling was the beautiful sunny Sunday morning that greeted everybody in a nice way, or maybe it was just the thought of everyone with similar values enjoying a meal together in the same place. I felt I’d found my spot when I walked in here. Good tunes, community & DIY vibes, and delicious food to fill me up before a flight. I had the biscuit breakfast and it hit the spot! The hash browns were particularly good as was the gravy.
Sew Caf has a punk atmosphere some people may not be able to appreciate (think portlandia), but they are a beloved institution I used to live right across the street from. Service can be gruff, and food may sometimes take a little while, good food sometimes does. It is all part of the unique charm, this is not a place people come to rush in and out, but to enjoy the moment.
