Great coffee and good service. Unfortunately I always have to get my coffee to go because despite the cafe looking clean and nice, I am befuddled by the way it always smells like cat pee?? Maybe the air ducts need to be cleaned and it is drawing air from an upstairs apartment or maybe the upholstered furniture came from a home with cats? I have no idea but it is STRONG and off-putting.
The atmosphere was nice- very cute and trendy. The iced matcha was sweeter than most and on the milky side. I also ordered a chocolate croissant and it was pretty disappointing. They keep the pastries in a cooler, so when I went to bite into it the chocolate was hard and the pastry was kind of dry. They did not offer to warm it. They also forgot to make one of the drinks someone in my group had ordered. So we had to go up and remind them, and the shop wasn't busy at the time.

Ordered a cortado for here, not to go (i.e. I wanted it in the correct glass cortado cup, which I saw on top of the espresso machines). Seeing these glasses out in the open is typically a good sign at a coffee shop.
Unfortunately I received a drink that was not a cortado and not in a proper glass cup. It was basically a cappuccino, all foam, and served in a paper to-go cup....
