This is one of my favorite local breweries by far. The name it has a lot of philosophical history and definitely worth looking into. It will give the beer More depth. Puppy friendly ??. ?????

The best IPAs in the state. Quiet, friendly, warming atmosphere. Awesome owners, great staff. Talented brewers. What's not to like?

Went to the late show to see Dave Hill do comedy. Tried their sour on tap and it was delicious! Would have loved if the brewery itself, stayed open later after the show! Looks like a fun place to hang out and throw a few back. The space we saw the show in was intimate and quaint. Nice bartender.

Sisyphus is one of my favorite local breweries in twin cities for a number of reasons. The beer and atmosphere is amazing, the location is perfect, and the comedy room/stand up schedule they maintain attracts some of the best talent in the city. I would highly recommend anyone coming to visit Minneapolis for the first time to make a pit stop at Sisyphus and check out their well-known open mic night on Thursdays, or stop in for a beer after you do a day trip to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Pup friendly and amazing staff. 10/10!!

Stopped in for a few beers with our 2dogs and 6 drinking humans, did notknow that there was a comedy showgoing on before hand. They say dogsare welcome but they are onlywelcome if they are quiet which isfine but then don't welcome dogs in,serve their owners beer and then kickthem out because the dog barkedperiodically. We were told the dogwould have to go if she kept barkingshe had stopped but started again,we didn't have a problem with theneeding it quiet per se except wewere served beers, paid tab and thentold, dog had to go. Nocompensation for the full beers, noyou can stay and finish them, just ayou have to go. Not a dog friendlyplace! Probably not friendly to.loud children either! Rather rude staff as well! Most of our party finished their beers, not the owner of the dog, she literally was served it and then asked to leave. The lovely customer Ben ( friend of beer server) should pick a brewery, that doesn't let dogs in, if a random bark irritates him. As for me and mine, we will spread the word about what a horrible business this is and gladly give our money to deserving breweries in Mpls.

This place has terrible customer service. We were told to leave last week after our dog randomly barked every 20 minutes. No notice that only quiet dogs allowed. This is fine if it's clear, it was not. We were literally served beers and then told to leave. Upon calling management the next morning to voice our dissatisfaction, there was no acknowledgement of there error and instead were again completely rude to a paying customer. There's lots of other welcoming breweries in Mpls. Where they treat their customers well! Do not bring your dogs or loud children here!

Great stop before or after games. Brewery had good choice of beers. Peanut butter beer was delicious. Cherry seltzer was also good.

Usually don’t right reviews but honestly I’ve never been so disrespected by a business ever… we came in with our dog who’s usually super well behaved and good especially at breweries but last night for some reason was a little anxious and would yip every 10-20 minutes. We didn’t know there was a comedy show going on and the employee told us we were disrupting the show and had to keep her quiet. After buying my second drink I was told I had to leave because of my dog. My mother in law complained that I should have been reimbursed my drink or they shouldn’t have served me. The staff was completely rude to her and in the end told her they don’t want her business and fine if she never comes back. I called the next morning to sort out the situation because I’d love to keep supporting local businesses and hoped this wouldn’t ruin further experience. But when talking to the manager, he was equally rude, uncaring, and quite unkind to me about the situation. He felt no reason to apologize to me or reimburse my drink.. honestly made me cry talking to him on the phone… sadly I cannot go back knowing that’s how they treat customers and warn anyone else who plans on going there.

Excellent cozy space, great variety of beers, pinball, and incredibly tolerant staff. I say tolerant as I watched them get berated for asking a patron to quiet their loud barking dog as there was a paid comedy show ACTIVELY going on.If it wasn't for the great beer and staff, I would have promptly left as I had a dog barking in my ear for over two hours. To whomever that loud mouthed rude woman was, shame on you for your complete lack of self awareness."I enjoy listening to a strangers barking dog in an enclosed space!" Said absolutely nobody everP.S. You and your Farmington gang finished all of your beers, Shannon. Don't lie. The entire staff and the rest of the patrons tolerated your dogs barking for way too long.

Writing to comment about Shannon O.'s review. I was there when her party and her dog came in. There are signs that say if your dog is disruptive you will be asked to leave, but even if there aren't signs that say that that is how every business works dogs or no. If you or your party are disruptive, you will be asked to leave. That's basic stuff for being in public. Insane for Shannon to think her dog should be an exception. I was annoyed with the dog in the non-show room because it kept barking and they didn't seem to make much effort to stop it or give the dog attention. After some barking I looked back at her party and one of her friends mouthed "I'm sorry". The friend seemed uncomfortable to be involved in such a clearly obnoxious and disruptive scene. Shannon must not have cared. I went into the showroom to see if I could hear the dog, and sure enough during the comics sets the dog was barking loud and clear. In my opinion the staff should have said something sooner, and as soon as they said something shannon should have realized "oh, I can't stop my dog from disrupting the show, I should probably leave". Instead she felt entitled to ruin the show. They also had PLENTY of time to drink their drinks, this wasn't a 10 minute thing this was over a period of an hour. The last line of her review speaks volumes. She STILL feels entitled to bring loud kids to a BREWERY at night with a comedy show going on! YES IF THEY ARE LOUD AND DISRUPTIVE THEY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE why would they not?!?!?! That is EVERY BUSINESS! Glad Shannon won't be back, but I hope reasonable people realize her review is worthless.
