St Pierre Steak and Seafood

St. Pierre is a lovely new addition to the neighborhood. The vibe is very nice, with a casual yet sophisticated feel. The menu in particular has an interesting variety and everything we had was very tasty.

The crab salad was very good, though we wished it had more crab meat. Both steaks we had were nearly perfect, and the cheese pastizzi (similar to an empanada) was tasty. For dessert the Crème Brûlée Doughnut and “Snack Bar” were both 10/10.

Service was a little slow at times but that was understandable being the restaurant’s first week or two. Everyone was very pleasant.

So so impressed with this place! We live in the area so we have seen pretty much everything and we’re judging this place against other restaurants in the “swanky” division. Concept isn’t anything crazy but the execution and service?? Leaaaaaaps ahead pretty much every other North Loop place. The food was delicious, innovative, and well priced (again, for swanky vibes it absolutely is well priced). We loved having so many options but they all complimented each other and went with the theme of their concept. Full wine list, great dessert menu. Overall 9.9/10! Can’t wait to come back when it is a well oiled machine to see if the standards stay high.
