Extremely rude employees shouldn’t be tolerated avoid this location

Our flight was delayed 4 hours and then 20 minutes in the air we had to turn around and come back due to mechanical issues. Subway was the only restaurant open and the staff were friendly and efficient. The entire plane came to get food and they handled it professionally and friendly.

Much skepticism I had, young traveler, for the reviews of this Subway in MSP Terminal 2 painted a tale of woe—of forgotten sauces, misplaced meats, and service slower than a carbonite freeze. But lo, the Force was balanced on my visit.

No line stood between me and my footlong egg & cheese flatbread. The staff were swift, friendly, and accurate—rare, it seems, based on tales from those who came before. I customized my flatbread with pepper jack, lettuce, tomatoes, green and banana peppers, and a splash of Baja Chipotle. Tasty it was—worthy of a Jedi breakfast.

Quick food options here are limited, so this reliable outpost is a welcome beacon. About 5-6 tables await just outside if you wish to sit and ponder the mysteries of your meal.

Final Verdict:
Against the odds (and the reviews), this visit was a success. Perhaps the tides are turning… or the staff has found a new hope.

The subway is located right next to Dollarama and Pizza Hut on Pembina Highway. It’s a pretty standard subway. There is seating for about 15 people inside. The service was fast and friendly. There’s plenty of free parking as well.

Horrible experience. Did a mobile order. They refused to put half the ingredients on my sub. Ordered a full footlong and the sandwich could fit between my finger and thumb. Also got shushed by the worker when asking where I could find the mobile orders.

Accidentally ordered a footlong to this location, which is completely my fault. But after calling the store for 45 minutes, I was unable to get an answer to my calls. So now I am out one footlong.

This is ridiculous. I stand behind a poor woman asking multiple times for things and either being ignored or misunderstood.

Then we ask for the Meal of the day $6.99 deal with an extra $3 for a footlong. Took us several times pointing and explaining and then they make what looks like what we asked for. Go to ring up and they charge $22-something. I tell her it's the meal of the day. She is looking directly at the screen that has it in big letters, and apparently has no idea what I'm talking about. I point. My husband points. Finally she says it's an online deal (not stated anywhere on the screen). At this point there's about 20 people behind us.

I told her to just adjust the price since that's what's advertised. She claims she can't do that. So I asked her who can. No one, of course. I told her I'll go ahead and eat my sandwich and if she figures out how to charge us the right price, she can come get the money from me.

She starts complaining about me taking food for free. Please, lady. I'm TRYING to pay you the advertised price.

I ended up leaving everything there and walking away hungry and even more cranky than an early flight warrants.

They were out of ham, white bread, tomatoes and the fountain drink machine was broken at 12:30 on a Monday. For some reason 7 staff behind the counter while there were 2 people desperately trying to keep up at Caribou. Awful experience.

FOOD POISONING WARNING below...I figured since I had a sizeable layover I'd try this location even though there were negative reviews about the wait. I waited about 15-20 minutes in line before I found out that I could pick up my order. That was faster because you can go straight to the cash register. I did that, so I cannot comment on the full wait or what it looked like when the sandwich was made.

I can comment that while eating my sandwich I started to feel very sick. I had to run to the bathroom... my stomach hurt, and I felt very nauseous. While you can never confirm where you got food poisoning from, I do believe it was the food as I had not eaten anything other than an unopened fruit cups an hour or so before. Half way into the sandwich I started to feel queasy. It isn't worth it!

The worst service we have ever had. The staff is useless and cannot understand basic requests. Got our order wrong three times and then the staff could not grasp that we wanted to pay together for two subs so they opened our sandwiches all the time checking what it is.

Do not support this branch!

Be prepared for a very long line. They add a gratuity to every order no matter what. My two 6” sandwiches were somehow $28!!!! They had to have charged me wrong somehow but I could not believe the total! I was sick of standing in line so I just paid and left. I would attach a photo of my receipt if I hadn’t thrown it out, but I was blown away at the price.
