Loved this place. Loved the food. Loved the employees. Loved everything about it, until...... Until one morning we went. The girl at the register who is normally amazing, and who I have offered praise to the owner told us 'oh yeah, you can do that, no problem'. The only problem was she charged us $17 dollars for a breakfast sandwich x 2 sandwiches = $34 for 2 sandwiches. We have never been back since, unfortunately! Because we both love the food! So unfortunate. ...
One of these days I’m gonna get here early enough to get some of their sourdough bread, but it’s been sold out the last couple times I’ve stopped in. I’ve taken friends here for brunch two different times and both were excellent. Friendly service, excellent food, pleasant ambience. It’s wonderful! Got the poutine, which is different than traditional but still lovely, and the phoenix chicken sandwich. Their fries are also amazing. 10/10 recommend
Always a must to stop by Sun Street when I’m in town. Al, you made the best latte I have ever had in my entire life. Perfect texture, flavor, and presentation. Thank you to the lovely staff for the wonderful recommendations and fantastic fantastic food and drinks.
