My partner and I came to this location for the second time tonight and we had a really wonderful experience! Our server was John and he really made the whole experience really awesome. He was well informed, provided great recommendations, and seemed like he took a lot of pride in what he was doing. It was just a really great experience and we know that we'll just keep coming back :]

Nice little conveyor sushi spot. The food was really good, had a good variety, and pricing was generally good, though pricy if you like to eat a variety of sushi. Service could be a bit chaotic and slow at times, and it seemed a bit disorganized, but the food was worth it.

Fair warning: got terrible food poisoning here.
We love Sushi Train! Such a fun atmosphere and delicious, fresh sushi, only made better by staff that never fails to find a way to deliver a delightful experience.

I love this location better than the Downtown one mostly because of the free parking! It makes such a big difference when you don't have to worry about that.
Anyway, I feel like the sashimi here was better as well. We got nice thick cuts of salmon and tuna. They have a new mango roll that is delicious. The usual rolls are there, along with specialty rolls that you pay $6.95 for. As sushi places go, that's cheap. But since you're probably trying other stuff, expect to get about 6-7 or more plates adding but to over $45 per person.
On a Thursday night, there wasn't much happening here but possibly it gets as busy as downtown on the weekends. The staff was very helpful and the place is clean. I'd come back to this location ifbI felt like going to a conveyor belt sushi place.

I really liked the atmosphere of this place besides the fact the a/c was off and it was 85 degrees outside.
I went in at 3:00 in the afternoon which may have been a bad time to go in. I’ll visit again and update my review because I don’t like trashing restaurants in reviews that don’t actively do anything wrong.
All of the sushi off the belt was warm l, which was concerning. That’s my only gripe. I will try this place again though because I don’t think I’m giving it a fair shot with my 1 trip there.

Absolutely lovely service and very very clean restaurant. Love the ambiance with the huge fish tank animation on the back wall. Great sushi !

This was only my second trip to a "conveyor belt sushi" place. The sushi was very fresh and very delicious! It wasn't nearly as pricey as I expected, either.

I like sushi, so I found this place NOT particularly flavorful and overpriced. They barely provide Wasabi and no ginger.

So i have been coming to sushi train since they opened in Nicollet ave downtown Minneapolis. i usually love to dine in , but recently of been doing take out. i have gotten to know the new host Bebe very well. she is very sweet and down to earth. her coworkers two other women who are servers are not so sweet. probably the 4th time this month I've spent close to 30 dollar or more and tipped more than 20% on take out oders. Because BEBE!! is such an amazing host.
Today i was mean mugged by the two severs simultaneously as i entered the establishment. i had barley been in the space 1 minute. I see Bebe and let her know my usually. i mentioned that her coworkers didn't seem to like me. Being the sweet heart that she is. She brushed it off and said they were just busy.
As i was ordering one of the severs pretended to Interrupt us. saying she needs Bebe in the back for somethings. Told her to come help when she was finished up. I finished my oder and began to wait. Shortly after i was approached by one of the mean servers.
She handed me my bag and asked if I had gotten my drink. I said yes and she said have a good day. I sat down for a second and looked at my phone. She was obviously waiting for me to leave and asked again if i needed anything else. I said no i was going to say good bye to the hostess Bebe.
The sever than tell me shes not coming back out and she'll make sure to let her know (doubtful). Than tells me to have a nice day again. All in a matter of 1 minutes i was obviously being rushed out the store. So i dont know how else to put this having rude staff and staff that obviously are bullies makes for a super uncomfortable experience for patrons.
Why would i spend money in a establishment where the severs are so bold as to mean mug me as customers. why would i spend money in place where an employee is being punished for being approachable and kind. Shes the host, so what i am having some light conversations with her as i wait for my food.
If i noticed other people are gonna notice. Tell them women to go find a desk job somewhere since they clearly dont have good customer service skills.
Not to mention it was slow today 4 tables and 2 servers so pretty manageable since they're barley doing any servers cause the food is like right in your face. so again why am i being rushed out and treated like a burden?
I have worked on and off in the service industry for 10 plus years. One things that runs off good employees is bad employees/ management. Not rude guests, Not wild people off the street, Not picky people, none of its actually realted to the customer so much as the staff. if you let these women continue to be rude to not only guest, but staff your goning to run off your good customer service oriented staff. Bebe is a keeper shes is and excellent host. I'd to see her leave beacuse of some bullies.

This place was neat and always busy (which means it’s a good place for service and food)! The sushi and sashimi were fresh and tasty! The service was excellent! Highly recommend this place if you want a date night out, or just simply craving sushi. The variety of sushi isn’t as much, but the flavor and taste is great!
