Denisse was a wonderful server, very friendly, funny, and bubbly. Making our experience a little bit better because it was not the best.This location is tex-mex style, and the prices are not bad. There is a free parking lot located to the right of the restaurant.The music was very loud, and all the food came out of the kitchen at once. However, we purchased the tacos for two combo but did not get our tres leche cake and our server didn’t mention anything to us. Maybe it’s not offered anymore? If so the menu should be updated.The pastor tacos didn’t come with pineapple so that was disappointing for me, my husband prefers no pineapple so he didn’t mind. Rice and beans were a bit bland but the Mexican fries were good.This place is okay but all things considered it’s not somewhere we would see ourselves coming to more than once.

I came in for a quick taco and stuck around for hours! The food was very good and atmosphere chill and fun. I’m vegan and the Flower Power tacos were delicious. Best part of the experience was the bar. Drinks were on point and service so professional and personable. Jane was my bartender and her service was next level. My new favorite spot in S Mpls!

I have been to Taberna a few times during HH and dinner. I have been helped by Jane at the bar and she is such a positive person and knows how to make the best Margarita. I would love to see more gluten free items on the menu. I will go back just to be served by my favorite bartender Jane. I highly recommend!Vegetarian options: I tried the cauliflower tacos but wished there were more fresh toppings on the tacos. Maybe more salads, etc.

You'll always get the best service ad atmosphere here! Brandon, Courtney, Hailey and Jane are rockstars at the bar, Taleah and Veronica will take care of you at your table, and Chris who the runs the joint takes care of everyone and is the man. Great environment inside and out, and always good people around and a fun vibe. Food depends on what you like and is bar-level - my recommendation is the burgers as they're ground fresh and the friends are McDonald's-style!
