Chicken is dry as dust everyday. Menu is too big and hard to read. Would rate 4 stars if chicken wasn't so paper dry everytime.

I go here regularly and its very good, but sometimes takes a little while (which is fine by me). I've really enjoyed their chilaquiles (both red and green are great) and the quesadilla de masa (big handmade masa tortilla stuffed with the goods). Cecina is probably my favorite filling/protein here. For tacos I prefer their truck but if I get em here the asada or al pastor are solid and dependable. al pastor is not cooked on trompo (not much in MN is) but still tasty. Definitely my favorite mexican food south of Lake Street (their og Lake and Blazedale truck is the best for tacos).

Quick and tasty. The friendly staff had my take-out order ready in just a few minutes. The tacos were an appropriate size for the price. Although a little bit bland, the meat fillings had good flavor; I just had to use the salt packets they provided. The tortillas were nice and soft, but strong enough to hold the fillings.Overall, it was a good experience and I will definitely keep them in my list of places to revisit to try more of their dishes.Parking: Parking in the front; 7 spots. Accessible by transit.

Great Mexican restaurant with authentic Mexican dishes. There are no thrills. Zero thrills in fact. It’s like you got lost in some weird road in Mexico and you found yourself in a Tarantino movie. The food is the same consistency each time. Homemade, not restaurant quality but homemade. The people working are the same all the time. It’s a great small restaurant and small wannabe mercado with many Mexican things from real Mexican Coca Cola to desserts and fried pork rings, and you name it. You can say viva Mexico ?? and it’s all worth it. American people should stop ordering burritos here because it’s not Chipotle’s inc. Mexican food is not burritos. You need to order Mexican food, and think outside the box. Use your imagination but don’t complain about a bad burrito but that’s not the place to get one period. Think of birria or tacos with some exotic meat. But don’t complain and ruin the food here dear gringos???

We picked up burritos. Besides that I’ve c ordered two sides with rice and beans, just got one (which I didn’t find out till we were at home) but paid for two, the Al pastor burrito was awful. It was mainly filled with rice and refried beans and little to no pork meat in it. Very disappointing. The steak burrito was okay but at least had meat in it.The staff seemed they were overwhelmed with too many customer and that’s why they messed up the order.Won’t go back.

When we lived outside the metro, we would always pull off of 35 coming through to stop here. Now that we live in the area, and get to go all the time, I feel blessed. Like the taco gods have answered my prayers. Don't judge the place by the aggressive red and yellow color palette, the food is well worth the trip.

I’d been meaning to try this place for a while, and I’m glad I did! I ordered a variety of tacos for my son and me: Al pastor, Azada, chicharron, and campechano. Everything was fresh, tangy, and delicious. We ordered takeout, but they had plenty of seating. We’ll definitely return!

By far the best Mexican food in Minneapolis. Their beans are so good! And so is all the food. I always look forward to eating here.
