I was at TAPIN today for lunch. The catfish fries and Plantens were delicious. The chef came out and greeted us.

Ate here with no prior knowledge of it. Just ran across it, and thought we'd try something new. It was incredible! My wife had salmon and I had brisket. Everything was way above any reasonable expectation. The mac and cheese especially was probably the best I've ever had. And I'm a guy who knows a thing or two about mac and cheese! Also the staff was SO nice and friendly and everything. And the decor is really beautiful! Prices are very reasonable for what you get. In fact lower than a lot of places. We will definitely be back.

A hidden gem in this neighborhood. The decor is absolutely stunning!!!!! I've been here a few times now for different occasions. And will certainly be back again.
The servers we've had were attentive and lively, and fun cocktail menu as well. The food here was okay. It needs some tweaking to make it stand out a bit more but was fine otherwise.
Prices of cocktails/food were fair. I loved the music they had playing, it certainly sets the vibe and makes the whole concept come alive.
During warmer weather they do open up their big garage door windows which is fun.
Parking- there are a few spots available in their parking lot, and free street parking next to the building was very easy to come by.
Wheelchair - Accessible for those who use a wheelchair.

I've been back to patron Tap In a few times now. The vibes and ambiance are still a 5, however the food and service have varied in quality. The items that never seem to miss are the brussel sprouts and hush puppies. Everything else is a toss up.

The atmosphere is absolutely creative, beautiful and just creates a whole wonderful vibe. Our server was top notch. The food was delicious, there was not a crumb left on my plate. The place feels upscale but not pretentious. I will definitely be going back soon.
Unfortunately follows the stereotype that if the atmosphere looks great, the food is trash. Food was deplorable. Restaurant looks poorly managed. You can tell they care more about the overall appearance of the restaurant instead of good food, drinks & service. & if that’s front of house? I’m honestly not sure I want to see behind the scenes.

We tried the brisket entree and the Brussels sprout app. It was bad . All bad. The brisket was sloppy . Gross glorified beef jerky from the puck and oily juice . The cornbread turned to dust and was flavorless and the Brussels were hard and mushy at the same time . The best part was the Mac n cheese and it was meh at best . Paid 90 bucks and I am so upset over this one. We did get the peach crumble and it was good!
