The positive: absolutely friendly staff. Delicious mac, greens, and corn bread. Convenient location.
The not-so-positive: rice was hard (par boiled?), and while the flavor of the oxtail gravy was good, the meat was so hard that it was nearly impossible to eat. Hoping it was a one-off. Will try again.
The first day I had it it was so good . I told everybody about it went back the very next to day with more people and was sadly disappointed. The food was horrible the chicken was cold the macaroni and cheese tasted spoiled as If it was the same Mac from the day before and sat out all day the candied yams was mushy . The only thing that was good both days was the potato salad. I was very disappointed because the first day it was great the next was not and the cook was outside...read full review

House Of Jerk offers absolutely friendly staff and delicious meals like Jerk Chicken and Jerk Ox Tail straight from Negril, Jamaica. Customers love the Mac & Cheese, Rice & Peas, and Sweet Potatoes. While there were some issues with the rice and oxtail gravy, overall, the food was delightful and worth a second try. Delivery through DoorDash was also a great experience with tasty options like collard greens and veggie spaghetti.
