This is our go-to diner. They are incredibly friendly and the service is very efficient. The food is so good. We haven’t had a bad dish yet. Their hash browns are my favorite. They are made entirely in house and are perfectly crispy.
Love their philosophy. Love that they're in uptown. Love that coffee is organic etc etc. Love the avocado toast which is like a Benedict without the Benedict.

The food was genuinely amazing, best cafe/Diner hashbrowns I've had in YEARS! and the server Mai was extremely polite and pleasant to interact with. Most meals are close to 15$ which might seem slightly pricey but it's genuinely worthit for the quality of the food. The coffe while simple is delicious as well, if you get some 100% get their reccomended house made French vanilla cream with it, it gives it a dulcé de leché flavor and is a 10/10 on flavor.

I love the atmosphere here. Our waitress on the morning of Monday Feb 19 was stellar! I probably wouldn't order the avocado toast again, but it was good for a nice light breakfast before work. My co-workers highly recommend the Cajun Benedict and cookie dough pancakes!
Amazing protions, delicious food, and a staff that makes you want to keep coming back. I'm a long time regular for this local spot and I can't help but cherish my luck that somewhere so great is also so conveniently local. Perfectly placed in uptown proper, The New Uptown Cafe has great food and combo deals that make it affordable and tasty. I'll be there every Sunday without fail. If you're reading this review, you should do the same.
