Great experience all around! Molly was terrific, and other staff were attentive, as well. Salmon and chicken cordon bleu were both excellent and had larger portions than anticipated. Ambiance was great. Not much sound absorption in the space, but it was fine, all considered. We would definitely go back! It was fun to be there during the transition from daylight through sunset and early evening.

When we arrived the host fulfilled our request to not be seated in some shade. Our server Sammi was diligent in taking our orders and helping with our selections. Unfortunately, both the bar and the kitchen were noticeably slow in fulfilling our orders. If you are going to a show-factor in slower than normal delivery and enjoy the rooftop view. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and Sliders as our meal. Both were delicious. Sammi recognized my wife's birthday and celebrated it with a candle on the Dulce Leche desert. Prices are in the median.

The service was fine. The food was average and having a Birds Eye view of the people sleeping on the sidewalks below was less than desirable. The dining area was not very clean and the ambience just wasn't what we expected.

The restaurant was visibly dirty: worn-out furniture that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and a floor that could use a serious power wash. The overall atmosphere felt neglected. The servers were curt and disengaged, which only added to the discomfort. While the food ranged from okay to good, it wasn't enough to make up for the lackluster environment and service. I ordered the chicken and apple salad expecting a balanced, flavorful dish. What arrived was a feed-trough-sized bowl overflowing with kale—enough to make a rabbit reconsider its diet. The chicken? Sparse. The apple? Practically a rumor. It felt more like a kale ambush than a composed salad. If you're craving a hearty serving of greens with a cameo appearance by protein, this might be your thing. Otherwise, steer clear unless you're training for a kale-eating competition. Sadly, not a place I'd return to or recommend.

it was advertised on social media that it was a solar brunch with a DJ from one to four, it was no DJ at one and I waited until about two still no DJ False advertisement

When we arrived the hostess couldn't find our reservation and gave us attitude. After I showed her the confirmation on my phone, she told us to go on upstairs and show that. Our server was wonderful, drinks were good and food phenomenal. What a shame to have started out on that low note.
Food and staff are amazing. The atmosphere was good. The only downside I can think of is that the seating was a little cramped.

It was a special evening dinner with my daughter before a show. We chose the Union Rooftop for the first time. It did not disappoint. The service and food were amazing. Would highly recommend!

Decent food. Decent service. Great music from live DJ. Wished that the Solar Brunch menu had a few more items in it. My only other complaint is that I had called the restaurant a total of 3 times over a course of 2 days to ask a question about the menus. 2 of the 3 times, no answer. One of those times, I had left a voicemail as their answering machine stated that they will get back to me but never did. The other time, someone picked up but didn't know the answer and stated that they needed to ask their supervisor. I was under the impression that I was going to be put on hold but instead, I was hung up on. They could have at least pretended that they were going to look into it and ask for a name and phone number before hanging up. Very disappointed with their communication.
