I had a traditional breakfast with salad in place of potatoes; my partner had the chanterelle omelet . The food was delicious, nicely presented by a thoughtful server who was on point and friendly. The coffee is also good! Our friends also loved their meals— the Mexican hash was a big hit.

My waitress was so friendly and unpretentious and the food was SOLID. I needed to eat light so I ordered a salad but made some small additions (tomatoes and cucumbers) which was delucious, still hungry so ordered the mushroom soup which was great and was full of a variety of fresh local gourmet mushrooms! Menu is fantastic, would def recommend, great bar too!

Very nice ambience, I forgot my wallet at home. Didn’t have Apple Pay and the owner went above and beyond and didn’t charge me. I definitely will come back and spend $100 go here everyone.. The waitress Lindsay has a wonderful personally and is very helpful, courteous and nice. The owner is excellent.

We had a family lunch on a sleepy Saturday afternoon there and we were treated to great food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.We had a glitch with one of our 7 meals and they managed it a bit awkwardly. However, the manager made a real effort to fix it, even if that effort was late into the experience. Overall this is a spot you will enjoy if you like the whole gastroub vibe

Would definitely recommend this place. Good food, not terribly expensive (though it's under a very expensive complex, surprisingly). We have been here three times and have had a great experience each time. I really recommend their shrimp tacos and their house potato fry things. Never seems busy, which is odd.Parking is kind of confusing but luckily city street parking is close and inexpensive. They also offer valet, though I've never used it.

Miranda was our server for our group of 13 and was literally the best server any of us have ever had, the food was incredible and we will for sure be back. Cannot recommend enough, the chef went above and beyond to accommodate members of our group and Miranda’s cheery and sweet demeanor literally made the day

Just hosted an incredible rehearsal dinner for over 100 at Urban Eatery for my son and daughter-in-law. Shayna and her team created the most perfect evening for our guests. Everything turned out fantastic…the food was delicious and plentiful, the presentation superb, and the service was absolutely wonderful in every way. The nicest people work at Urban Eatery and always carry a smile! Great accommodations for every dietary need in our party was made (dairy free, vegan, gluten free, etc). If you are looking for an event venue, this is a top notch establishment.
Good gluten free options and labeling. My wife has celiacs disease so this was very nice. My kids also loved the kids menu options. The kids fruit side had a lot of berries which is great.

My husband and I are in Chicago, but we wanted to treat my sister and her husband to dinner in Minneapolis, near where they live, for their 1st wedding anniversary. I googled "best restaurants in Minneapolis" and specified 4.5 stars and above and "$$" price range, and Urban Eatery was at the top of the list. I called to see if I could get them a reservation for tonight, and was delighted they had an opening at 6pm!Then I asked if I could somehow leave a gift card at the check-in desk for them, or even better, pay over the phone at the end of their meal. I was transferred to the owner, Farzad, who could not have been more helpful!! He was WONDERFUL, and helped me execute my last-minute plan... thank you, Farzad!My sister and her husband said the restaurant had an awesome vibe, their drinks were fantastic, their waiter (pictured below) was awesome, and they were by the window with a view of their favorite lake. Her husband said it was "the best burger I've ever had" and my sister texted me that she had "a big, beautiful salad with citrus and blue cheese on it! It was so yummy!"Thank you, Farzad, for making it so easy on us to spoil my sister and her hubby for their anniversary. We will definitely visit the next time we're in Minneapolis-- and my sister said they can't wait to go back!

Went for a birthday dinner while in from out of town. They were so sweet and attentive! The food and drinks were delicious (I got the falafel burger and messy Jessy, while my aunt got the chicken bbq flatbread and a Cosmo). We ended the night with the delicious strawberry rhubarb cobbler with a dollop of ice cream and some champagne to celebrate the birthday.

This was our first time to the Urban Eatery. Everything was wonderful. Our server could not have been any better, I actually wish I remember her name because she was so remarkable. I thought it was good, but not excellent. I was not a huge fan of the pomegranate brussels sprouts, but everything else was good. We will be back!
