Food was great but the wait time was crazy for a table and food.

Incredible food (hot and spicy girl roll, spicy grilled beef), service, atmosphere, and of course, cheesecake.

I went to happy hour tonight and ordered a lychee martini, a sweet cocktail that i order every time i come. It came out tasting abnormally salty. I asked my server if i could have a remake and she took it to the bar and came back with it in the same glass with my lip gloss marks on it and it was a little sweeter but still super salty. I asked the server again if I could have it actually remade or order something else. She sent over the manager. He came over and we explained multiple times to him that the drink didn’t taste normal and he finally took it to the bar. We watched the bartender get upset and flare his arms as the manager asked for the remake. The manager brought back a new lychee martini that was good. Once the server presented the check I was charged for 2 lychee martinis, after only drinking 1. I asked the same manager why i was charged for 2 after having a problem and not drinking the original martini and he said it was a miscommunication and took it off my tab. Still tipped our server over 20% and will still come back but we left feeling like that ruined our experience tonight. A frustrating experience that made us feel like a burden to get a remake for a drink.

I’ve been going here for years. Miss living right next to it but even years later when I go it’s still lovely. Great food, waiters know their menu, great atmosphere.

Red curry mussels were delicious. The calamari was tough and dry, only edible by dipping in red curry from mussels. The mysterious roll was good. A few more specialty roll options without cream cheese and with sashimi would be nice. Waitress was pleasant but the host wasn't accommodating. He sat us at a table when we asked for a booth. The establishment has potential.

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The waitress working the bar was extremely rude and unprofessional. She mentioned that she had just moved back from Miami, but her attitude toward customers was completely unacceptable. She was yelling and very combative throughout our visit, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone around.
When the manager came over to politely ask if we needed anything, the waitress became even more upset and started talking disrespectfully — not only to us but to the manager as well. It was shocking to see that kind of behavior in front of customers. I truly hope management addresses this issue because experiences like this make guests not want to return.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Prices are decent too. For 2 people to eat it ended up being about $40 before tip.

Usually I’m fine with the 30 min wait here especially during rush time. But having to wait over an hour just for one specialty roll and two hand rolls is a bit too absurd. Additionally not even being given any small plate to put soy sauce in was a small but disappointing detail.

Best sushi restaurant in Twin Cities. Be ready to wait longer than usually during happy hours.

This is a decent sushi place. The quality is decent. It’s not phenomenal, but it’s far from bad. I came here for the 1st time today, and my experience was okay. The overall atmosphere is very crowded and lively. The service was OK. The food arrived quickly; however, the waitress was pretty condescending regarding the pronunciation of the items and the description. It was often said in a tone that we should know rather than simply explain simple questions. I ordered the Naked Girl roll as well as the Temptation roll. The sushi rolls were pretty good. The temptation roll had an excessive amount of mango in it, which made it extremely sweet. I definitely understand why it was popular; it's just not my personal preference. The Naked Girl roll was pretty good, and the miso soup and hamachi kama were phenomenal. I would return due to the service and far better sushi restaurants in the Twin Cities. However, this isn't a bad restaurant; it's just not a personal favorite.
