Good place for lunch. The food is decent and the proportions are generous. I get the chicken shawarma and it's pretty good. The ambiance is the best part of the place as the food isn't very authentic. My friend from this part of the world can't stand the place, but I think it's decent.

We had some food catered for my Grandfather’s funeral, and it was extremely delicious! There was a grilled vegetable salad that was so flavorful, falafel and rice, some amazing hummus, garlic and tahini sauces, and different varieties of kabobs. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the pita bread! It was literally one of the best pitas I’ve ever had. And trust me I’ve tried a lot ;) Many of my family members agreed. We had some people with special diets (allergies, vegan, and gluten free) and they were all able to be accommodated.
Thank you for making a difficult day a little easier to get through.

They told me I cant order a chicken shawarma without pickles. I can only assume that the sandwiches are premade and kept frozen( which explains why the chicken is dry and lacks flavor).
Well if you are doing that so why are your prices unnecessarily high.
Therefore, it's a no for me. There are a lot of restaurants around this area where they have decent food and are much cheaper.
Excellent food

The only reason I am not leaving a five star review is the prices. This place is authentic and I love being able to get a home cooked meal similar to what my grandma would make. That being said, it is nearly impossible to create a plate with rice, hummus, meat, and some greens, without spending nearly $25-30. this is just to feed 1 person. I wish the combos would be updated, but I am just happy to have somewhere to eat authentic, tasty, Palestinian food.
Also, I have never been served by another Palestinian here once. I had to go out of my way to interact with the owner, and it was tense. Which isn’t the end of the world. I just expected to have a familial experience when I came here.

They charge $10 for a sandwich and then add an extra $0.99 just for spicy sauce — it’s ridiculous to pay nearly a dollar more for a bit of sauce. I’m glad Baba Saj will be opening soon.

Wally’s lamb chops are a truly one-of-a-kind, mouthwatering delight. The hummus and falafel are equally impressive, bursting with authentic flavor. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, with the thoughtful addition of a prayer space. All in all, it’s a must-visit spot—with fair prices to match the quality.

My second time here and the food this time was a little disappointing. The first time my friends got a plate for 6 people and it was really delicious but this time my chicken shawarma plate was not that great. The pita bread was not fresh or warm and the chicken was really dry. The shawarma also needed more seasoning.

We decided to have lunch at this restaurant, and here is our honest evaluation:
• Ambience: The seating area is nice and comfortable, especially since the restaurant wasn’t crowded during our visit. That made the environment pleasant.
• Food Quality: Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. It lacked any good flavor, and the meat served was of poor quality—tough and difficult to chew. The spices used did not match the type of dishes served, indicating a lack of experience or knowledge in proper food preparation and flavor pairing.
• Appetizers: These were also below expectations and lacked both quality and taste.
• Service: The service was good, and the staff were relatively helpful.
Conclusion: A restaurant’s core purpose is to serve good food. When that fails, the entire experience is undermined. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant or eating there. It felt like a waste of time, money, and unfortunately involved consuming unhealthy and poorly made food. I made sure to be fair and objective in sharing my opinion and evaluation.
