About Wild Mind Ales

Wild Mind Ales is a welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere, featuring opened garage doors, string lighting, and a spacious grass patio. It is a fun and vibrant brewery tucked away in an industrial corner of south Minneapolis. The bartenders are accommodating and offer unique and delicious beer styles, including an impressive lineup with unique pours. They have local beers in cans and can serve them in mugs. While the selection of IPAs is limited and hazy, they do offer a beer similar to water, possibly referring to a light or refreshing beer. Guests can enjoy comfortable seating at various communal tables, which is perfect for making friends, as many friendly people, dogs, and kids gather here. The outdoor area is large and welcoming, although there seems to be an unused food truck and a tree that needs replacing. Unfortunately, the fire pits couldn't be lit due to rain, and the taps weren't working during the holiday weekend. Nonetheless, it is a good place for a good time and a recommended stop for beer enthusiasts, especially to try the Mlíko or the ‘slow’ pour. The Sunken Cathedral, a smoothie type sour with flavors like Blackberry, Lime, and Marshmallow, is also highly recommended for its complexity and balance of sweetness and tartness.
