I have loved Zakia. We have had catering of Zakia's gyro bar and vegetarian sandwiches for several events at our workplace. I'm hoping our recent experience catered yesterday was a "one off"-1) delivery was almost an hour late-even after repeated phone calls with no response-no apology nothing.
2. food quality was subpar: gyro and rice meals were all cold, the vegetarian sandwiches were awful, iceberg lettuce was frozen, the pita was completely dried out. We ended up throwing it away.
3. The quantity was 1/2 of what was ordered last year and the year before.
I want to support them and their business, but it has to be better or we'll go with another provider.

Vegetarian options: falafel and feta cheese sandwiches were what we ordered

Appealing -looking fresh fresh food and as tasty. Wonderful falafel and salads . Don’t skip dessert! Space inside is cramped. Emptier after 1:00. I wish Zakia was open more often -like on weekends.

Just tried Zakia for the first time and it was a 10/10. The lunch plate was the perfect amount of food. There's a reason there was a line out the door.

Great place to grab food if you don't want to shop hungry at the nearby Costco Biz Center.

Went for lunch on a Friday & parking was a bit tight (so we parked in a neighboring lot). My buddy liked his gyro plate with rice & ranch potatoes, while I liked their version of a chicken burrito/wrap with a few fries in it (sorry, I forgot the name). I asked the owner how big it was before ordering, & she said 'big.' There was definitely room to put more veggies & fries in there, & adding some rice would have made it more filling without killing their margins on it.

As we were leaving, I told her we enjoyed the food (& sweet rosewater) &... I said 'it was fine as a lunch portion' (for $9 anyways). I'll be back to try the meatloaf & kebab plates.

Always satisfies from either the restaurant or deli with delicious cuisine that gives you the energy you need for the day. And without any of the heaviness you get from eating a lot of other types of meals. You can gorge yourself to excess and your body still Thanks you. The mediterranean diet is just about the best there is on planet earth.

High quality real food. Definitely not processed. Hand made. I had the sample platter with a Lebanese salad.

Emily's is excellent, but this is my favorite Lebanese restaurant in Minneapolis. The daily specials are always on point, and their Deli section is next level good.

This is a small diner with a big taste! My wife had the Spinach Feta with Falafel and it was amazing! I had the Lebanese meat loaf with the Quinoa salad, and I love it. My wife's fav was the Spinach Feta, and I could eat the Eggplant salad everyday! It should also be noted that the portions are really large. If you are tired of the same old, same old, this is your place for resurrecting some taste buds that haven't been used in a while!

Parking: Shares a large lot with the business next door, but directly in front of the establishment are about 10 spaces

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a slight incline to the door. I am not sure if it meets today's ADA requirements, but I think it's usable. Inside there is a small vestibule with a ninety degree turn, and the inside should be manageable. The tables have removable chairs, so one or more can be moved to eat at a table.
