Good food, attentive service, pleasant surroundings.
Great food. Super nice staff...well worth the prices.
Fantastic happy hour! What a selection. My server was great, I didn't order from their Sunday menu but it looks liked is a great deal, for 25 - 35 dollars you can have a 2 course meal, extra 10 bucks gets you another course, really good value
Great place. Nice happy hour selections, and a really good wedge salad ( that they’ll chop for you!). Good value. Nice patio, but a bit too sunny for us. Great service too.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary tonight at our favorite place! Hats off to William, our server, who made our experience extra special! Jimmy's Kitchen never misses!!! Best place ever!
Always a sure bet for some good food and great service. Also a good happy hour spot at the bar.
Food was delicious, as usual, and the beverages hit the spot!! We sat outdoors - so nice to be outdoors wherever we can!
Excellent wine list, great appetizers and the entrees ( Salmon and Wasabi champagne halibut were excellent. First visit there highly recommend!
Very noisy. Loved the brussel sprouts appetizer, salmon salad, and natural chicken. topping it off with the excellent bread pudding was a bit too much, but well worth it.
My favorite steak place in the twin cities! Steaks were reasonably priced and always perfectly done. Sides and appetizers are amazing.

Jimmy's is one of our favorite restaurants. When I got the eclub notice about the Father's Day special, I jumped on it. I always have the halibut when in season. The pistachio crusted halibut was delicious, but the roasted Brussels sprouts were amazing, and way better than the ones I've had there before. The au gratin's were tasty and very homemade. Hubby had the crab stuffed salmon. Delicious, with lemon caper sauce, garlic mashed, and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. We shared a Caesar salad as a starter. Dressing was obviously freshly made and for the first time they had anchovies!!! The flamed -at -the table crème brûlée was perfect. Best dinner we've had there in a long time. I asked our waiter if there was a new chef. He said “yes”, a couple of months ago. Well done Jimmy's. Keep it up!
We eat at Jimmy's on a regular basis, and the food is usually solid. Sadly, both halibut dishes were dry and overcooked; I suspect they were cooked in the same pan at the same time. (Halibut with garlic/caprese side, and the Halibut with Lobster Risotto) My wife ate her garlic dish as is, but I promptly returned mine. The risotto was very severely overcooked, mushy, and under seasoned. We could not tell it was rice, it had the texture of oatmeal. The calamari was great. We also ordered a chopped wedge salad, it came out whole. Interesting, the last time we orderd it whole (a few weeks ago), and it came out chopped. The hamburger for our teen was great, and always is; he loves it every time. The dining room floor was very messy with food scraps (at 5pm), and there was ground in food into my wife's chair. I suspect this was all left over from the brunch service, which we have attended before (and was excellent) Someone should have quickly vacuumed and cleaned off the chairs. The server was great! My family was nearly done eating by the time we could alert the server and get the menu back. I opted not to order again, and made dinner when I arrived home. Very small halibut portions, maybe 4 oz, especially if dry like this, is not a good value. The halibut preparations are not what they used to be. I'll stick to other items on the menu in the future.
Another Exceptional Experience1 Our dining experience on Easter Sunday evening was delightful. Even though Jimmy's was very crowded, our waiter was pleasant, provided exceptional service and did not rush us. My husband and I each chose a different entree---- the Salmon Teriyaki and the Pistachio Walleye. We enjoyed our selections and recommend these entrees!
We enjoyed Easter brunch. The food selection was great and broad enough to please everyone. I especially enjoyed the salad selections, scrambled eggs, bacon, salmon, mashed potatoes and gravy, prime rib and of course the cinnamon rolls. Allison was our server and she is very pleasant and on top of her service! Jimmy's is great anytime and especially for holiday meals.
A delightful Easter brunch, with a wide selection of delicious dishes, including a prime rib carving station. Tammy was our waitress and was very attentive, checking back with us often to bring coffee and water refills. A good experience.
