Hands down THE BEST VEGETARIAN I have found in the MSP area! The meat and fish "substitutes" are home-made with natural ingredients, creativity and ingenuity and are by far the most tasty and appetizing I have ever tasted. I have been there twice and can't wait to go again! The chef/owner and all of the wait staff are so fun, friendly and excited about sharing their cooking and creations. It's so hard to decide what to order so we have to keep going back to try more dishes!

Had the lunch special with an egg roll, orange tofu and white rice. Came with some raw broccoli and a couple slices of cucumber. Delicious and service was fast and friendly. I wish this was closer to me! Or maybe it’s good that it’s not because I’d spend all my money there.

Ordered the vegan sticky Jicama and ribs noodle salad. It tasted just like meat with a similar texture couldn’t believe it was vegan for a little bit. This is a fantastic spot for hearty meals with amazing flavor. That said the meal was a little pricey but it is well worth it

Woah. I ordered the Heinamese chicken for takeout and genuinely thought I ordered chicken. I had to take a moment and really get over that mental hurdle. My father who is an omnivores said his "beef" was incredible and urged me to try it but I was still getting over the idea that my chicken was somehow not chicken... Still, absolutely delicious and I love how they've taken simple dishes and just added an extra punch to each dish.

It's been a while since I had good vegan pho and this place delivered. Their vegan pho is delicious!

A small family-run restaurant with friendly service and great food. EVERYTHING on the menu is fantastic and mostly vegan barring a few items. They have great Pho and other noodle soups including the stuffed bitter melon soup , tomato, plus many vegan meats and seafoods with great texture that hold up in broths or sauces. I love the chili lemongrass tofu (fried is super yummy). The dumplings are great steamed or fried, and the “fish” dish in the clay pot is good though the sauce is rich and slightly sweet so we like to add a bit of chili oil to offset that. There are sizzling crepes, the five salads sampler is a fun dish and the grilled pork or pork sausage noodle salads are also tasty. And the dau hu nuoc duong (silken tofu with ginger syrup or pandan flavor) is a great end to any meal if you’re not already too stuffed (if you are, they do carry out too!). You really can’t go wrong here- I am working my way through the menu and haven’t had a bad thing yet! I haven’t tried the banh mi or the more standard take out fare yet so can’t speak to those but the soups, appetizers and chef’s specials are 👍. Note that most of the serving sizes are pretty large so bring friends and eat family style so you can try several things in a visit!

Great vegetarian and vegan place near trader Joe’s with a very friendly staff. Enjoyed pad Thai and coconut soup without worrying about sea food or meat contamination of any kind. Taste was great. Make sure to mention your spice level when ordering.

All of the vegan options available blew us away. Plus, there are even more options if you include the ability to make modifications. This is an entirely vegetarian/vegan Vietnamese Restaurant. They have a small rack of Vietnamese treats for sale and a cooler with drinks that can be grabbed and gone. We ordered the fresh spring rolls- and loved the crispy tofu inside the spring rolls. The dipping sauce was delicious and unique- we loved it. We ordered the tofu banh mi with vegan mayonnaise, which was a huge portion and very good. Again, however, they make their tofu crispy, which is so good, and it is added to the sandwich. We also ordered the G5—braised eggplant and mushroom dish. It was served in a beautiful clay pot with a lid and a side of white rice. The dish had excellent flavor, but I thought it was slightly salty. The waitress told us that it was a salty dish and that instead of adding rice, we should add the main dish to the rice. This was very clever and a tip we'll use going forward. She sent us home with our leftovers and an additional side of rice. Honestly, there is enough for an entire extra meal. The service was excellent. Friendly and knowledgable Our meal was incredible, and we will tell everyone we know to eat here! Updated from previous review on 2025-02-22

What a great restaurant! Nearly every seat was taken during lunch on a Saturday, which is always a good sign. There are SO many vegan menu options to choose from, and the food was SO good that I see myself coming here often. The Spring Rolls (menu item # A1) were fresh, tasty and healthy, given they were not deep fried. The peanut sauce served with it was fantastic and complimented the Spring Rolls well. The Vegan Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (menu item # D1) was huge portion-wise, as were the pieces of tofu and “beef” within the soup. It was served piping hot temperature-wise. The spice level was perfect and did not overpower or mask the wonderful taste of the other ingredients. VEGAN MENU ITEMS Vegan menu items are clearly marked with a green leaf and include 7 appetizers, 4 types of Pho, 5 noodle soups, 1 rice entrée, 1 stir fry, and 17 Chef’s Specials.

An extensive menu with many labeled vegan options. Many non-vegan options can easily be made vegan. The egg rolls were probably the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, flavorful and non greasy. The orange tofu was perfectly fried and seasoned. The banh mi can be made vegan by asking to switch for vegan mayonnaise. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Food came out quickly and was all great. I think they could improve their labeling on menus. #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2025-02-02

The night we went it smelled like they just spilled a gallon of cleaner on the floor. There definitely was an overpowering odor which was not pleasant for a restaurant. Their menu was confusing as to what exactly was vegan, they had a vegan leaf icon next to things that had appeared to be vegetarian and the vegan named items had ingredients that might have been questionable as to if they were actually vegan. They also listed beef, chicken and fish as “extras” which there was no indication that they were plant based or meat. It brings me to question if this place is actually a fully vegetarian restaurant. Needless to say their menu needs work. We tried the orange tofu, pad Thai, and lemongrass tofu and they were all completely different from what we were expecting. The orange tofu had an overpowering ginger flavor, the pad Thai also only tasted like ginger, and the lemongrass tofu was just fried tofu with an incredibly spicy dry coating…there was no sauce. The cucumber sides were coated in some kind of brine that tasted funny and the broccoli wasn’t steamed enough to actually cut it with a fork and was too big to reasonably eat without cutting it. I really wanted to love the food, I just didn’t.

After my very first stop this became my go to vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Staff is as amazing as the food. #Veganuary

For years, I had to avoid almost everything on a Vietnamese restaurant menu, now I can eat almost everything. Nearly everything can be vegan, and everything is delicious. (The non-vegan items are vegetarian.) I'm especially excited by dishes like Braised Fish with Pepper (Ca Kho Tieu Chay). Check it out! Updated from previous review on 2025-01-24

I got curry noodle soup and it was 10/10. Presentation was very cute and I liked that they kept the noodles out of the soup so you can add them as you want. Not 5 stars bc not only vegan food
