Awesome ice cream stand. The ice cream tasted great. The large hot fudge sundae was more than I can handle and definitely worth every penny.We will definitely make this a regular stop on our ice cream social trips :-)
Worth the stop as you drive through Montevideo. This charming ice cream shop has a large good menu - all the American classics. We ordered the popcorn chicken as shown and ice cream. The service was fast! We enjoyed our food on the patio and it was fun to see how many locals stopped by, grabbed a cone and we’re on their way.
This used to be a good hangout for kids on bikes in the early/mid-80's. The food is nothing special, other than it's what I grew up eating a few times per week during the summer. I'd always get two hamburgers with ketchup, mustard, and onions and a dip cone dessert. My family was friends with Art Wersal and I vaguely remember going to the VFW fish fry's with him and my family many times but he had sold the establishment many years before I was born. I haven't...
