we were just driving thru town, and saw a sign of Kolackys...I grew up with a polish grandma and knew I HAD to try them (except we pronounce them kolache). it was 3pm, unbeknownst to us, the store closed at 2pm, HOWEVER, the owner let us in to purchase some goods, and gave us a history lesson on the store. Nostalgic, kind and authentic freshly made donuts. I brought them to work as a thank you. They were a hit! I have requests to get more varieties.
There is a good reason they have been here forever - their baked goods are great! Of course we took kolacky with us - Raspberry, apple, and blueberry.
