“The food was good, their service was lacking. Took a long while to even be acknowledged by staff at the window. No one even attempted eye contact. And that was at a time when I was the only car at the restaurant. When someone did come to take my money, he was very courteous and upbeat. I was just surprised by it, Subway's I've been to before have been right there. I'm not sure if it's the new punch in your order boards where no one has to talk to you. You punch in the order and drive up to the window. No one being there makes you wonder if anyone is there. Did they get my order? The board is easy for making your order, fewer mistakes. But, personal recognition and contact are important, especially if you are expecting a tip, too.“
